I like everything about the character myself, just a cute neko styled girl character. Reminds me of the kitty girl from bloody roar. All in all, her designs seems EXTREMELY standard fare for a japanese fighter >.>

I do like how she is clearly a foreigner cosplaying, so there's some dimensions to her characterization. And she really loves tossing enemies in really embarrassing ways. Should be a fun way to beat the more hard edged characters with!

Nope, nothing anywhere near that bad. There's a slightly similar thing very late in the game, but by then it's so easy to fit the criteria that it takes 5 minutes to meet them. There are also guides that have the exact stats the character needs to survive.

Honestly, playing Inquisition has done the unthinkable- made me miss DA2. The areas were tight, you didn't have to trek through mob fields to get anywhere, side quests actually had CUTSCENES instead of those horrible, boring, 'interactive' things they have now where you just rotate the camera around your PC's head

I understand why it's so common for people to get stuck in the Hinterlands, but personally I didn't have that problem. When I was level 6 and I hit an area in the Hinterlands with level 12 enemies, as well as having enough power to unlock the next two areas, my first instinct was "oh, I'll come back here later" not

I don't mind the 'filler' in the areas themselves as it's at least something to do. What I hate is the pointless War Table stuff that adds barely anything the game but only lets you do up to 3 actions at once and some of those can last 24+ hours.

I think all in all this is a problem for a vast majority of free roam games these days. Take a look at Assassin's Creed or Far Cry.

This is a case I think of where they over corrected from Dragon Age 2. People asked for exploration and freedom and we got the Hinterlands, which I'll admit I'm one of the people who spent 15+ hours in the hinterlands finding every nook, cranny, and castle. Great way to grind Power though.

I've been feeling the same way and playing less and less as a result. I killed my first dragon last night all the Fuck yeah of the game returned.

Seriously, I'm playing through Dragon Age 2 for the first time right now.

Double Fine ran into this exact same problem with Broken Age. With no Evil Publisher cracking the whip over their heads, they were free to let all of their design ideas just run wild and unchecked by things like deadlines or budgets, and then all of a sudden all that money they were flush with just vanished.

What the hell?

VAC sucks, there's no denying that...but I honestly think Valve does as much as possible without being incredibly intrusive. On the other hand, with as bad as it has gotten at this point, I'd welcome some kind of incredibly meticulous, terribly intrusive system if it would mean people can't do this kind of bullshit

I dunno - the fact that he was banned suggests otherwise. It's kind of reminiscent of tge Sammy Sosa corked bat scandal in baseball. Sosa claimed that a bat with a cork center that he used in practice had 'somehow' made it into his game bat rotation, accidentally. Frankly, it was all rather fishy, to say the least,

Something like what Execution Labs does might be useful for Valve to develop as part of the contract for selling Early Access games on Steam.

Agreed, Nerf Now has always felt like it was written by a horny 11-year-old boy. It's just not a very good webcomic.

I started playing pinball machines around 1971 and "graduated" to Pong in 1975.

Is it just me or has Nerf Now gone fucking crazy with its use of tits and ass. I read the strip a lot through the last couple of years and it seems like every other comic features giant tits or a woman in some strange (I guess he thinks sexy?) pose.
