Okay, what the hell received that first tag?
Okay, what the hell received that first tag?
I found a study once from a couple decades back—an attempt to modernize the Kinsey studies and do more research on a wider variety of subjects. It concluded that when asked if a particular sex act or sexual behavior is "normal," conservatives are less likely to say yes regarding almost everything, but much more likely…
I think you're right, actually—born in China, moved to America at a young age, later came back to China.
I've been buying games at full price when they try something new, even if their implementation is somewhat awkward. Most of them sell relatively low numbers, but at least I did my part. (I still maintain that Miasmata is an underlooked gem.)
@Ted Price: If you're going to say that one of the required traits of a good team leader is "Balls," spelling it with a z instead of an s isn't gonna make it any more PC.
Well, Sleeping Dogs is pretty heavily Chinese. (They did make the protagonist Chinese-American, but that didn't seem to be about Americanizing him so much as about creating an excuse for why he starts at the bottom of the social ladder.)
I prefer "Craptaku"—that's what they call it on Rock Paper Shotgun.
I bought this at full price because I figured the devs needed the money. Maybe I should have just given the money to a homeless person or something.
She really does look like Sarah Palin. (Or perhaps Palin looks like her.)
Full delivery + partial delivery + cancellation + hiatus. Presumably, what's missing are games that don't come out, don't have a cancellation notice, and don't have a hiatus notice. In other words, development hell.
I would love to see Blazblue converted into a single narrative with one beginning and one ending. The setting seemed interesting, but trying to work out what was going on based on the bits and pieces from each route just gave me a headache.
I could swear I read this as a short story under the title of "Anda's Game." (It was in the same anthology as "I, Row-Boat.")
"This app is incompatible with this Iphone. This app requires a front-facing camera." What do you need a camera for in blackjack?
I can't believe the Daily Fail still has influence these days. I guess some people are really responsive to being told they should hate and fear everyone besides themselves.
Seriously, Brits, how could you allow this to happen? All that hectoring about American prudishness, and you let wizened politicians turn protecting the kiddies into an I-Win button.
This is the biggest gap I've seen between Kotaku and Rock Paper Shotgun—your article on this game is eight days after theirs.
I see it as fundamentally a tribute to the genre, just one that takes a different path than most. The characters live in a world that doesn't work like a standard magical girl series, but Madoka in particular sees the world as broken because of this, and does her best to fix it.
Did Nerf Now get some manner of reboot? I'm starting to see characters I'd never heard of before.
That violent games article just broke my brain.
I have to say, this looks better than what's up above your post. Their designs are a little more varied, and they feel like they have more personality.
