Wish I could star you 100 times. This is how it always ends up going, people fall so in love with their tribe they ignore their actual principles and defend at all costs.

Love the kid gloves you’re wearing here. Which you certainly wouldn’t be wearing if he were White or Conservative. She was too drunk to consent and he even invited his buddies. He’s a rapist just as much as all the others you report on. His movie doesn’t change that.

She’s really into the cliche social media experience that the news talks about all the time. I would guess sharing the experience online and getting the likes in return is worth more to her than having full immersion in the concert. I don’t think she would ever say that though. She’s very defensive about being phone

I mean, I tell her it’s distracting to me and probably to others. I tell her she’s missing out on the immersive experience. She just shrugs and blows me off. I’m not going to constantly start fights with her over it so I don’t know what else I can do. At least she keeps her phone off during movies, which is the only

If you ask her why you get a simple answer about having video of the experience. She puts them on Snapchat and Facebook. Dozens of people “like” them. If you point out the experienced is lessened by being in your phone the whole time she just insists it doesn’t distract her at all, which I doubt.

My wife holds up her phone for like half the concert. I can’t stop her. It’s embarrassing.

Fair enough sir. I thought you were one of my “communism works!” students. Should have known it was a jest.

Weird comment. Communism really is terrible, and you don’t need to be communist to have a public option healthcare plan.

Beatings or not, some fucking discipline would be nice. Not just “here’s your tablet and we’ll get ice cream later, please behave!"

I would guess he’s just annoyed by the question being constantly asked but didn’t know how to phrase that. Unlike a white dude being constantly asked about diversity he can actually say it’s annoying. It’s funny to me he drew attention to diversity with the very name of the show but still doesn’t want to talk about it

You make a valid point but remember that humans have trouble with change. As nineties teens my friends and I used the word “fag” constantly in jokes and such; It was a word no one even thought twice about saying. Now that has changed and I have changed along with it, but it was a slow process that took time. These

I definitely don’t think context and intent excuse everything, but I do think we dismiss them too quickly a lot of the time.

I agree with 99% of that. I just kind of focus on the person more, what their intent was and what their thought process is. I don’t think Clint Eastwood is a racist, but the times have changed around him to make institutionalized thoughts of his come out of that way anyway.

I struggle with this because to be fair in the seventies and such there was a lot of language we would call racist today that was actually, really not considered racist at the time. As in the intent behind it was not racist. Obviously there were actual racists saying horrible things that we ignored, or even way more

As Deadpool said in his movie, is it sexist to punch a female villain or more sexist not to? The endless debates of what is feminism...

You forget that modern liberalism is about hating everyone who disagrees with you or follows laws you disagree with. Also believe every single accusation regardless of proof.

I think you’d be surprised how many young people have the perspective of blending races together and destroying self-segregation, which includes no exclusive racial groups for either side. Not making a value statement on that personally, but it’s a perspective I see a lot lately (teacher).

One of the most annoying far left word games for sure.

I definitely think she sounds like she’s screaming and lecturing the audience even though she’s doesn’t mean to. Whether that’s sexist to say or not I don’t know, but it certainly doesn’t apply to all women, just her, and I can’t help how I feel she comes across.

I think she stopped being A-List the moment Twilight ended, if she ever was, but otherwise agree.
