I was a little annoyed, but I managed to go with it. One can assume the ship used gold as an energy source in its raw form so mere contact could have added a push. I mean, it's still silly, but it was a silly episode, so I can swallow it.

As long as it's not part of the promotion for the episode I really don't think it would be a big deal. Kind of bummed we're getting a censored episode. Hopefully it is uncensored on the blu ray.

If they're doing an evil Mark Zuckerberg style Lex I think they (obviously) did perfect casting. It's a good way to modernize the role, having him be an Internet billionaire who hates the new hero on the block.

The scene with the female soldier at the end told me that what the Doctor really dislikes is how soldiers follow orders, not their own morality. Anyone who would give themselves up to follow orders without thinking isn't someone he wants to be around.

If they have to use them every year, which supposedly they do, I'd rather quality episodes like this than crap like Victory of the Daleks.

I liked this episode a lot. A surprise home run for me.

You guys seem continually amazed that this property made for such a popular movie. Yet it's been done a million times before, honestly. High budget plus good marketing equals success, usually. This film is no different.

It still exists in many forms, just perhaps not the original negatives. They can still do high quality scans of second generation film stock, which exists in abundance.

Too much ego involved with Crystal Skull to remove it, sadly. Thankfully the way Jones movies work, they don't have to acknowledge Crystal Skull ever existed and can just do another plot-line, just like the second and third movies did.

Yeah, Devin on Bad Ass Digest is being a bit dramatic. Disney and Fox could easily work together to restore and release a new box set timed with Episode 7, which would make both studios a lot of money. Devin seems to think Fox would just do it themselves but I am sure Disney being involved is either necessary on some

Hopefully the cartoon isn't treated as in any way essential viewing. I'm sure they're not stupid enough to do that but people keep acting like they will. I know I'll never watch it, and neither will the vast majority of others.

Every plot leak makes this movie sound worse and worse, honestly. I'm trying desperately to keep an open mind however.

Random ancient comment: I loved this movie. This review makes me sad.

Compliments are good, but focusing solely on looks is a bit weird for many, so it's probably safer to not do it. I wouldn't call you a jerk for telling someone they're beautiful politely, but it's usually better to focus on hair, outfit or something else like that. It can come of weird and creepy otherwise, to some

Indeed, being in the situation helps tremendously. I worked as a bartender when I was 23-24 and suddenly I knew what it felt like to be constantly objectified, hit on and even groped. I did not like it (at least, not after a few nights!).

As someone who also has Bipolar Disorder this scares the shit out of me. No more pain, at least.

Jumbled?

Moffat's an amazing writer, you have to admit that. I think people just disliked the fairy tale style he decided to use for 11, and the growing problems that had. Or maybe they just dislike his showrunner choices, I don't know. In either case he's a brilliant writer. Also the show is more popular than ever under his

So excited to have a prickly Doctor again. As a classic show fan it's probably the best present they could give me.

Good points.
