Way too long of a break! I love this show and I swear to the old gods and the new – Grodd and Beebo, respectively – that I will send a unicorn to the CW offices if they cancel this show.

Clearly, there are no improv classes in the Star Wars galaxy.

Adore The Magicians. Can’t their writers give the DC CW TV U some pointers? For coherence and also how to fit musical episodes into their show? They’re all in Vancouver, right? 8-)

Here is the actual fun story. Some things I condensed: Kelly Sue DeConnick actually made a bet with McKelvie, saying that if he designed the Captain Marvel costume and Marvel didn’t want it and didn’t pay for it, she would pay for it herself. But Marvel ended up loving it and paid for it, so DeConnick won the bet and

Here’s something interesting: you know all these red and blue, with yellow star designs? That comes directly from Jamie McKelvie’s redesign of Carol Danver’s costume when she became Captain Marvel. A redesign that, initially, Marvel didn’t want. They had a completely different costume designed, but Kelly Sue DeConnick

Here are some things I noticed from this trailer. Full disclosure: HOLY SHIT I AM PUMPED FOR THIS MOVIE.

This trailer made it kind of clear to me that Carol had amnesia inflicted upon her, rewriting her memories to make her more loyal to the Kree.

Why does that fish look so happy?

“I don’t think he’s demanded a council be created to approve all stories going forward or anything.

I’m sorry, did you just say Aldis Hodge? As in, “Age of the Geek” Aldis Hodge? As in “a consistent bright spot even among the many, many, many bright spots of ‘Leverage’” Aldis Hodge?

You make some valid points, and some points with which I might quibble. However, this is the first point I’m going to attack:

It was terribly rated the day it came out before anyone had time to read it. Because, yes, there was already a campaign to down-rate the book due to including an LGBT character.

Thanks!

Yes, Humans ended last week and it’s right after The 100 but less depressing. And it has demons and people with worms in their mouth which instantly makes it better than whatever love and/or crime cases are happening elsewhere (not to mention reality shows).

another one.. just found it last night. It is def in the bad-it’s-good category. I think of it as Xena without the realism..

I’m probably one of the only 5 people watching The Outpost. It’s so bad (especially the lead character dialogue of the “strong female character” who needs nobody - especially men - but somehow ends up being constantly in need of rescue) but, at the same time, I can’t stop watching. Maybe it’s The Dark Crystal plot. Or

So a giant dragon surrounded by unobtainium, dark and light force and rainbow alien powers!

I loved that Tilly line. Same for her “This is so fucking cool!” in season one. It’s an interaction I’d been wanting in Trek for so long, for a character to acknowledge in some human way just how amazing all the crazy superscience they think up on the fly is. That was absolutely a line that had been uttered on every

I actually dug that trailer a whole bunch! Much more adventurous and exciting--it really did feel like they’re, well, boldly going! I did enjoy season 1 for the most part, but it was quite grim, all in all, whereas this looks much more, well, optimistic! And there’s fun crew banter! Between characters who sound like
