Also, do these facial expressions on Archie remind anyone else of Scott Pilgrim?

I think there’s probably someone at Valve working on “how to replace all community interaction with an automated system, so we can get on with other stuff”.

Well, why not! In the paper-verse, she ends up babysitting for Jessica and Luke. Who are both on their way to the Flix.

"Everyone in the world will fall in love with Assassin/Translator droid HK-47"

I just learned about this. The existance of this food, that is. From Agents of SHIELD. Coulson had his tie dry-cleaned. Apparently, he spilled "poi" on it. Oh, the tie was a gift from Aubrey. Who is Amy Acker. Who is in...

Denmark is a founding NATO member. You may be thinking of its next-door neighbour, Sweden. Which maintains its friendly-with-NATO-member-of-the-EU-but-staunchly-neutral-please-don't-put-this-to-the-test stance.

Never heard about the planes before, but... They've done this kind of stuff to the Nords ever since the Cold War. (I just lost the entire afternoon tvtroping myself - except with wikipedia - reading about Soviet subs in Swedish waters... "No, seriously, we're just very lost!")

Yep. Redundantly tautological cake-on-cake, as the Nords say.

Definitely. And while there are many shooters being made, most of them have all the personality of a damp cardboard box. I've been hoping someone else would try for TF2-levels of Colourful. This, at the very least, looks like a valiant effort.

I'm only speculating, of course, but that gameplay video? Gave me the distinct impression it was not being played with mouse and keyboard. And FPS games on the PC do not generally favour controllers. Which makes me suspect the base platform is a console.

Bungie seems to have turned into a gamer-hating, money-grubbing company. Halo games were (still are) some of my favorites and now Bungie is smearing their good name with crap.

Forsooth and verily, real men/women/blufurrycreaturesfromalphacentauri do notte playe yon Knight of Demolition at Degroot Keep!

I vehemently object to the certainty of the idea that you're in the minority. Majority is not defined by volume of internet shoutyness. Oh, and if I had a nickel for every time an actual majority fails to be reasonable, I could buy a cup of coffee. For everyone on reddit and the sodding BSN.

Was that technically a "joke"? Seemed like a "reference" to me. Or a "burn", if we're being generous.

No, no, that was good, format-wise. But you forgot to include a byzantine explanation of a hitherto unexplained connection between Firaxis and Valve.

Well, "Warp 0.05" is technically warp speed. I guess. (Except some googling tells me the scale is exponential, so I have no idea if that's proper math.)

Y3s.

That's the problem, I guess. The engineers here and elsewhere keep saying "not feasible" and "not viable", neither of which mean strictly "impossible". But since all the tech companies that could work on (something like) this are making money from the status quo... I'm not hopeful.

I've got a theory. Marketing guy wrote "any attention is good attention" on the whiteboard and said "brainstorming time!"
