No the ride height is OK, it's the front wheel arch that's too big. It makes the wheels look small and makes too large a cavity behind the wheel. From that angle with the wheels turned a few degrees, it looks pretty bad.

I agree, on a rally car, they shouldn't have low profile street performance tires...
