It's been around for a long time but only now you're seeing more lower budget production cars with it.

GT has always been two per gen.
Going by the release dates of the others, You've got a 1-5 year gap.
If you're lucky a GT7 Prologue will come early.

With a decent rear tyre, I'd imagine it would be rather exciting.. Just not when it's windy.
