@cha0tic: It's pretty tough to get a decent machine for much less than Apple charges unless you're building a workstation. But a laptop of anything close to comparable quality is similar or more. Anyhow, Apple products hold their value. So you can buy a 13 inch mbp for $1200 and 2 years later still get $800 for it or

@Joshiii-Kun: You can start slowly and work up to it. It's not difficult to do.

@paladjinn: There are different styles. I prefer Hatha style. The best book on the topic is one called Surya Namaskara by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. There's a 12 minute audio track that goes with it that takes you through 6 rounds with chanting. Brilliant. You can email me on twitter if you like. I'm at

Let's hope Google doesn't buy DuckDuckGo. I like that AROUND () operator and + . Handy.

I like the not operator to exclude words that come up in my search results that are off base. It's just the minus sign - prepended to the word you want to exclude. I find this one of the most useful tricks; great for refining searches. Also quotation marks to match a whole string is handy.

I almost always sell my gear before the 12 month warranty expires. I buy mostly Apple. The resale value is huge. I kick in a few hundred and get the latest. If you do the math you're ahead over riding something for 5 years until you can't give it away or it breaks. Of course if you buy junky gear this system will be

Try the sun salute. 6 rounds. 3 slow 3 fast. Takes about 12 minutes. You can combine it with awareness of the breath and even chanting if you're so inclined. It's all you need.

@Dartimous: Got it. Thanx for the clarification.

@weissn001: I'm not sure if it will play drm flicks. Give it a shot. Air Video is very solid. I've used it extensively.

@Fullthrotle: If you just intend to stream from your main machine to your iOS device use Air Video or StreamToMe instead. Air Video does only video but is excellent. StreamToMe does audio as well, but the video rendering is not as good as Air Video and it tends to tank your cpu a bit when converting files on the fly.

@weissn001: Check out Air Video for that. It's probably the best app for that sort of thing. There are others. StreamToMe also does music. Both work with Macs or PC's and might be a couple of dollars.

@Dartimous: Far as I can tell newer devices with the latest iOS require tethering unless you want to try a beta release. See the links above.

@toleroapto: Thanx for the link. Still in beta though. Have you tried it? Is it solid?

Or try any of the following: a tea made from fresh boiled ginger, mint tea, fresh lemon in warm water, or apple cider vinegar.

@Squiddles: You can assign all the hotkeys you want in Quicksilver using triggers. But if you don't want to use hotkeys you can just type the name. Point is QS does it all and much more, like quickly moving and copying files, opening word in the dictionary or searching in a browser, etc.

Quicksilver triggers does the job for me. Also easily assign short cut keys for jumping back to Finder, and starting a new Finder window. Essential.

@Oh, Ferret~: Hmm I think there's still the jailbreak limitation of have to tether your device when you power down and up again at least with iOS 4 on an iPad. No?
