The level of discourse is impressive. It's not like I, a woman, would have any sort of vested interest in eliminating suffocating gender roles.

Kris, its gonna be ok. Just breathe.

You're only famous because you have a gigantic ass and got fucked by a E-list celebrity.

I'm really happy for the Kardashian family that they have managed to parlay the OJ Simpson trial and Kim's sex tape into a multi million dollar chest of money for their entire family, including the ones who are actually Jenners. But seriously, please, don't start trying to pretend like you are a normal human being.

I'm going to come out and say it, Kim's work is less savory than the other women Erin mentioned in the post, and I judge her for that. I'm not saying she isn't entitled to make money as a reality TV star, but I do wonder about how "hard" that work is, in the same way that I look askance when people say modeling is

CLICKBAIT.

What the hell are you talking about? Unlike Kim, kanye is actually quite talented and makes great music. He contributes to society to those who like his music. Doesn't make him less of an obnoxious douche but albums speak for themselves. It has nothing to do with sexism.

There's a lot of comments about whether her "work" counts . I'd say it does, but (and this is a huuuuge but) the really insulting issue here is that she doesn't face any of the work-place challenges that most moms face. There's no HR telling her that she only has 6 weeks of paid leave, no boss cutting her out of

" there are so many times when I just didn't want to get up and work on something and I just wanted to be home with my baby"

I'm not against sex tapes but I am saying that's probably the most actual "work" she's done in her entire fucking life. She has a team of nannies and no one can figure out what she actually does besides be famous and be seen with famous people. That's not a real 9-5 job!

That's where it belongs.

And my guess is that their definition of "having it all" is a lot different than ours. Back in the day, "having it all" to me meant adequate food, shelter, health care, clothing and education for my child. I was able to provide that and I believed I was on Easy Street. Plus, my car was reliable and we had a dog.

Kim Kardashian's "work" may or may not take her away from her baby. From what I've read, she has more than 1 nanny to take her baby wherever she wants the baby to go, including wherever she is. Most women don't have that luxury . . . .

I'm more interested in whether Kim's nannies "have it all."

Celebrity women of the world really need to stop with this. I'm sure they have struggles I can't imagine but when people like Gwyneth or Kim start in on this it sounds as silly as if I'd say, "I totally understand it must be to deal with paparazzi because at my wedding I got tired of smiling for all of the photos."

"products that, you know, we can't find that we really want"
Like you couldn't find dresses, self-tanner, books, bronzer, jewelry, liquor, candles and shoes before?

Between staged photo ops around Calabasas and jet setting all over the world, how DO the nannies keep up? Working real hard there, Kimmiekakes.

satan.

I have this fantasy that I somehow run into Kim Kardashian and I treat her like a normal person or I get the chance to say "I'm sorry...you are??"
