It always bugged me that Naruto would always be training hard core in the sun, all the while wearing that heavy jacket, zipped right up to the super cosy-looking neck. And that jacket is all he ever wears until Shippuden. I always thought it must reek like hell.

Someone asked me just the other day if my shirt design was from Eva, but called it "Neon Genesis". I found it weird, too.

"Hmm, it won't take long to track down those sailors. I'll just spend a little time on the toy capsule machines..."

Several hours later
"It's getting late. Ine-san will be worried..."

I'm shocked, too. I remember that there was a team of fans working on making a Cloverfield game, where you could play as either the military or the monster (I think you were also meant to be able to play as a parasite). Then Paramount asked if they could stop, because they wanted to make their own Cloverfield game

Everyone's been calling those particular creatures some variation of 'dick snakes' since the film came out. An article here a few months back even borrowed the popular 'Peni-vagina-cobra' moniker from an entertaining blog post on the movie.

Funny how prevalent the 'shut up and turn off your brain' comments are when we're all worse with this than the scientists. How many comments did I see on Pacific Rim's robots and monsters being impossible, and that it made no sense to pit a melee weapon against something we could just be firing missiles or lasers at?

Sorry about getting back to you late - Christmas, you know. Anyway, umm, is it still not possible to send private messages via Gawker? Sheesh. I'm guessing you don't exactly want to put your email address out there for just anyone to see, so... any ideas? I could upload the script somewhere but I've never actually

And that's exactly what the trailer is telling us - stand up in the face of Armageddon!

YES! I love The Lost Room. So easy to get through with only 6 episodes. I keep recommending it to Warehouse 13 fans. I really hope we do end up getting that novel/comic book follow-up (though really I want a new TV series).

The script has been removed from the place that io9 linked to when they presented it a while back, but I downloaded it, so if you want it I can send it to you. Lemme know.

The footage in the video ClintonD posted is from the new 'Rebuild of Evangelion' series of movies, which look amazing on Blu-ray. If you need a little info on the TV show and movies, maybe to help you know where to start (join us, join usss!), take a look at this explanatory post I made recently on a forum. Hope it's

Hate to be the guy, but someone that's catching up with the series and is yet to see S4 is gonna see that and go berserk.

Thank you so damn much for bringing this to my attention :D

I love Harpagornis. It gives me this real sense of awe to imagine a raptor this size flying around, looking for prey a big as freaking moa. Humans were totally on the menu for this bird. I grew up in NZ, and as random as it might be, the fact that Harpagornis once existed there was one of the things that made me proud

Wow, thanks very much for clueing me in. I'm glad Bakuman did well, I enjoyed it (though it chose the right time to wrap things up). Ye gods One Piece's popularity is insane - I hear a lot of adults enjoy it. Personally I've never read any of it and have only seen a couple of random episodes on TV. Naruto's over

Bleach didn't even get to finish its full story out in animated form, either. I wonder just how far underneath these three it is in terms of popularity, and also why (I have a couple of ideas but the difference in popularity seems like it's pretty big, so I dunno).

I know. I'm enjoying the season enough, but it's nowhere near what I'd imagined it would be. And it if it continues the way it has been, the series going out with a whimper rather than a bang (well, I'm sure they'll ramp things up for like the last two episodes but...).

Am I the only one that had read (back a month or two) that Pacific Rim's first ever Kaiju attack was meant to have occurred in Japan? Well, being San Fran now explains why the audio in the viral video makes it sound like this is the first time such a creature has been seen, and why it was taken down without the use of

Very true, going just by the trailer it seems to refer to the monsters' own motives, but judging only by what footage we've seen it's bit hard to imagine the beasts having complex thoughts. I'll buy it if that's how it is in the end, though. It'd be a nice change for a giant movie monster to have a mind beyond that of

Rei is in hospital a fair bit, but it's Asuka that goes into a coma and is 'witness' to Shinji's... 'antic'. Go to Youtube and search "End of Evangelion hospital scene" or "End of Evangelion THAT scene". Yep, I know you're not referring to the end scene on the beach.
