Copying what I said to Frogurt: The Avengers property is owned by Marvel (now Disney), who have a distribution deal with Paramount I believe. Sony owns the rights to Spidey as long as they keep making movies with the license, which is how we get movies like this and First Class. The difference between this and First

I was hopeful as well. Marc Webb directing, plus Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone in the starring roles was basically a dream team for me (love all three). That trailer killed all interest I had in the movie. I go back on my original comment. Horrendous doesn't even begin to describe those stupid first person sequences.

The Android version probably won't have the adventure update at launch. All they've demoed is regular building, not even survival. And it's going to be an Xperia Play exclusive for a bit. So yeah, I'd go iPhone if you want the better collection of games.

Minecraft is coming to Android. Enough said.

What irks me is that Columbia thinks we need another origin story. I don't mind a return to Peter's HS years with a focus on Gwen, but the origin bit is unnecessary, as are the horrendous FPS sequences.

Don't worry 'bout it- just comport yourself worthy of my approval :P. Third person adventure hmm...Monster Hunter seems like it would be up your alley. I haven't played that many PSP games TBH so what I can offer reccommendation wise is slim compared to other commenters. Hopefully the fact that this comment thread is

Playable, but lag can be horrendous, the frame rate can dip a bit, and of couse map packs are delayed by a month plus compared to the 360, which is the system I would get it for given the option.

If you like TPS, can't go wrong with the MGS games, the Fireteam Bravo series, and Resistance:Retribution. Also, I recommend KH:BBS to every PSP owner. Welcome to the community BTW.

Battlefront 3 with 64 player MP cap, fully destructible environments, and an Extended Universe campaign. There's really no other answer to this question.

Every time Ninty's been doubted, they've made money hand over fist. I have complete faith in a company that hasn't had a commercial failure since the Virtual Boy (the GC was not a failure by any means), and that was almost two decades ago. The leadership just seems to know something we don't. That being said, Ninty

I'd have one, but it seems you have to be 18 to use it during the beta. Lame considering FB is fine with 13 year olds...

I love the quote on the back of the box: "Anyone who comes out of Primer claiming to know what just happened is either a savant or a liar". Pretty much sums it up.

Luckily the running time (77 minutes or something like that) makes it easy for multiple viewings. I'll be watching it again at some point this week. And I think you hit on the point that Carruth was trying to make.

Basically, these four guys are trying to get VC funding for their startup. Two of them are working on a project (what the original purpose of the project was is never stated) that accidentally turns into the discovery of time travel. Any more would spoil the movie. And yeah, the whole movie is kind of vague, so the

Amazon was nice enough to send me my copy of Primer last night. If you haven't seen it, buy it, rent it, or move it to the top of your Netflix queue immediately. Mindblowing doesn't even begin to describe the pure for a lack of a better word absurdity that Carruth has done with this film. Must see.

CoD4 remains my favorite of the series and one of the best games of all time in my book. I guess I'm looking at it through rose tinted glasses because it was my first FPS that I really dug into, but I see no flaws in that game. It still holds up well graphically and gameplay wise.

If you want a star, it's pretty easy to get one. Just submit an entry to either the Photoshop contest or to Owen's weekly sports thread. I ended up having to resort to the latter after trying to get starred for a year on pure commenting. And I would say comment quality has decreased, but not to the level you're

I'll add my praise to the already recommended Ender's Game. If you're looking for a good fantasy novel, I'd try The Name of the Wind by Rothfuss. One of the best novels I've ever read, bar none. Bradbury's written some good stuff- try The Martian Chronicles or some of his short stories. And this one's going to sound

EXACTLY. Monopolies have been nothing but bad news for consumers. They discourage competition and encourage price fixing. The threat of a monopoly is why I have no desire to see anything like this go down unless another legitimate competitor gets into the market.
