The question is when. Dark Dawn didn't come out until late in the DS' lifecycle, and it'll probably be the same for a GS sequel. Hopefully that remains the same and an FE sequel doesn't come too early.

Golden Sun:Dark Dawn is awesome! Makes up (almost) for having the stupid flu. Great game if you're looking for a solid RPG. Nintendo putting Golden Sun and Fire Emblem games on the 3DS may sway my choice of handheld. Right now I'm solidly behind the NGP, but full fledged FE and GS sequels, plus KH:3DS? Mmm. That makes

@SuicidalEarthworm: $400? Sure. $500- Sony better include some darn good incentives and have great launch games to justify that price.

@Ars_Diaboli: Ah, the Dawn Brigade...couldn't have hurt IS to balance that part of the game. Seriously, when any member of one side of a fight can kick the tail of any other member, you're doing a split story wrong.

@Ueziel: You've got a long way to go, mate. Depending which difficulty, at least 17-18 more hours. And Radiant Dawn was so freaking underrated it hurt. Great game and I want a new console FE. I may have to get a 3DS for a new FE, which I really have no desire to do. You're killing me Ninty, you really are.

@A Bloody Brit: Infamous. Can't go wrong with an awesome sandbox.

@AznMetalHead: He's wrong on a couple points. One, CoD is going to sell the NGP. Never underestimate the power of casual fanboys willing to pay $15 for map packs. And two, Sony IS bringing the type of gaming he's talking about to NGP. Angry Birds and stuff like that's already on PSN, and there's going to be more

@misterexe: The major difference here is the second stick. If the NGP gets shooters right, the 3DS will die a slow death.

@UsernameOfTheDead: Sony's got three game changers that Nintendo doesn't have an answer for. Second stick, touchpad, and 3G. FPS is the new casual, and the NGP is going to nail that genre.

@PatMan33: The second stick is the difference. Sony's going to beat Nintendo by appealing to the CoD casuals. I'm expecting MW3: Portable to be a launch title (maybe even bundled) and it's going to be the system seller the PSP never had.

@Batman: The second stick, touchpad, and 3G are going to not only make ports easier (ensuring a never ending supply of decent games) but allow developers to make new IPs without having to restrain themselves due to the control limitations. If Sony gets pricing right, the NGP will crush Nintendo. There's no doubt in my

@AOClaus: This is what I've been saying since rumors started about the PSP2. Make it THE Call of Duty machine (dual analog sticks, seamless online play, maybe even over 3G, a replacement for the triggers) and you will crush Nintendo. That's what Sony looks like they're going to do, and good on them.

@PSWii2008: Just got your reply (haven't been commenting in weeks due to school) and dude, that sounds awesome. I love Louie (been to BigStuf and similar conferences and I've heard him speak, as well as the times my school chapel plays vids of him) and I do like most of those bands you mentioned. I may have to make a

@Daemon_Gildas: The touch pad basically replaces the L2 and R2 buttons. Going to be very useful for Uncharted and CoD, as well as giving some unique VR experiences.

@ElaborateEnduringEnvy: Microsoft's not doing it for the immediate future. They view WP as their portable.

@Space Bot: Some device makers bundle free 3G service with the devices. Amazon and B&N do this with their e-readers, and Google and Verizon are going to be doing this for Google's Chrome laptops (200 MB, but better than nothing).

@graavigala: Yes. It's Uncharted on the go! You can't beat that.

@LongDaysPleasantNights: Great soundtrack. Can you tell me the name of the song in the commercial per chance?
