On a Chris Nolan kick, I finally watched The Prestige. All I have to say is, wow. Nolan takes the what would otherwise be uninteresting story of two British magicians' rivalry in the late 1800s and makes it something special. Fantastic movie. Next up in the "I want to have my mind blown" watch list is Shutter Island.…

@Weezle41: Amen, he is a genius. The closest thing we've had to a discussion this big on a pop culture event was the series finale of Lost, and of course that was big because it was a serialized TV show. A standalone movie? Never.
