God I miss the Experience. Used to go there every year. Missed going to the Decommissioning Ceremony (was in Vegas, didn’t know about it)

Really, it was AEGIS in everything but name.

Everyone has since pointed out that it has to be a holodeck adventure, but I totally thought it was the duplicate from last season, the one that stayed on the USS Titan with Captain Riker.

Don’t forget a stint in New Orleans.

So is it me, or was that second stinger a callback to the bit in Army of Darkness with the skeleton fists punching Ash?

I don’t think Watchers / Supervisors are outside the timeline, but I vaguely recall indications that AEGIS were, which is why they were doing what they were doing. Keeping the timeline going according to plan, like the TVA.

I wonder if they aren’t going to play this as Q’s impotence causes the Bad Future / Confederation.

That’s what I thought once they said that the Watcher was really a Supervisor.

Same, same. I mean, the DMA kinda looks like the old V’ger cloud, so my money was on a return by the Decker Unit and the Deltan navigator whose name escapes me right this second.

If I remember correctly, that’s the reason for the variable geometry warp nacelles on the Intrepid-class ships like the Voyager, to mitigate the damage to subspace from high warp speeds.

Exactly what I was wondering. There’s also no indication of what platform it’s going to be provided on, either.

I’m in. Anyone know if it’s going to be a bingeable drop or a drip feed?

They’ll proclaim that they had policies against this, then they’ll trot out some middle manager as a sacrificial goat that managed to roll the whooooooooooole Amazon Basics line out without anyone realizing he was ripping off everyone else’s products, and then Congress will be like “Alright, cool, those lobbyist

For a minute I mixed up Gina Carano with Giancarlo Esposito, considering the reports that the former is returning to the show.

I know I’ve read too many Star Trek novels when I had to pause the show twice to find out if Hysperia was the same planet from “Here There Be Dragons” and they were sneaking in a novel reference.

Chocobo Racing was already a thing...

You’ve pretty much described every “create something awesome for us!” contest for any video game (or really any piece of entertainment content) ever.

This looks like it’ll make an awesome tv anthology series about the horrors of modern technology spanning several hour+ long episodes, rather than a two-ish hour long movie.

Aside from that, Valve probably has no monetary motivation to fix this either. I’m pretty sure that Apple and Google will claw back the full purchase price of something that was refunded, even though they take their 30% cut when it was bought in the first place. Wouldn’t surprise me if Valve did the same thing, but

I’m pretty sure that up until just recently they were being really vague about the premise outside of “a buncha kids find a derelict Starfleet ship and a hologram Janeway”. People probably just extrapolated from there.
