I still believe in the project but I know I won’t be playing it until at least 2022.

I feel for the guy, but he made *61 different donations*. That is not someone who is suddenly shocked by a game radically changing from something he’s physically capable of playing to one he isn’t physically capable of playing, he appears to have been deeply involved with keeping up with the various alpha developments…
I’m sorry but if he’s up for a dogfighting space sim, then that’s no less involved than a first person shooter. How is he medically able to play the space sim with ships flying around in 360 degrees every which way and the chaos of all that, but not capable of playing the FPS?
People need to stop acting like crowdfunding is a pre-order and not an investment with risk involved.
Whaaa, crowdfunding participant feels ripped off, NOOOOOO!
I don’t know how so many people don’t understand game development. It has been 5 years. 5 years is also the ammount of time God of War took and i don’t recal people saying it was “never coming out”. Horizon Zero Dawn took 5 years, and i don’t recal people saying it was never coming out. GTAV took over five years and i…
I don’t think you understand what a pyramid scheme is... People investing in what you think is a game that won’t ever get finished does not make something a pyramid scheme.
There’s nothing shady about what they’ve been doing. It’s pure, crowdfunded development, it’s the same as kickstarter or patreon, but over many…
I have no idea about actual numbers, but by the forums it sounded like these sorts of things are sort of collectively funded across large clans/guilds. At least with those space aircraft carriers, it rarely sounded like individuals.
Kotaku posted this yesterday...
Dear Kotaku,
I don’t know why, but lately I have had problem in visualizing the video you take from Twitter. I see them cut in half horizontally and I can’t even click on them to go directly to the Twitter page. Do you have any idea why is that?
Other way around son. This is a last-ditch attempt to save Crytek from bankrupcy. They’ve been close to it for years now.
That is quite possibly the most ridiculous statement I have seen today. To think a company currently just barely staving off receivership who can just barely pay its employees could sink CIG.... Nope, not gonna happen.
Believe me, I am part of the german games industry. Crytek is already dead in the water. This is just ahelpless last ditch effort to get some money.
Until now, I thought Crytek had already gone bankrupt. It does seem like a desperate move to get money
Pretty sure this is Crytek looking for an out on their financial troubles and getting really desperate. I hope this falls through and SC keeps trucking along and the cost just wrecks crytek for trying to take a petty shot at nothing to solve their problem instead of having a viable business.
Well, if you like incredible amounts of detail in video game vehicles, I know just the game for you:
Alpha 3.0.
Those animations look so bad. You sure this isn’t Andromeda?
Guess I’ll jump back in. I was one of those people who used to ask if this game was worth getting. I bought and refunded it twice. Then the third time I kept and I had fun. Yet, I stopped playing it because I got bored but I’ll check this update and see what it’s all about.
Use GWX Control Panel to disable the windows 10 update and remove the icon by the clock.
