I like the advice: do your research, use trusted brand, avoid Franken supplements.

Here, let me google that for you:

You bring up an interesting point: As games become less on-rails at how to approach play, offering more and varied ways to play them, will reviewers with unimaginative play styles color their own criticism without even realizing it? In this case, Kirk seems to indicate he wasn't expecting or wanting a gun game, but

It's an interesting time for gaming as far as game input/controls/in-game possibilities. IMO, keyboard never brought much to the table other than a lot of buttons. It's not intuitive, WASD never brought on any innovations directionally - and I think the gaming keyboard alternative market jumps on that. Also, I've

X-Men were pretty much cancelled until Feb '75. I'd say Marvel made the right call ;)

And Android is....?

I couldn't agree more. I feel like some people want to dismiss or explain away bad behavior because they feel it's a sex specific issue, when really it's not. "Stuck in the academic" is the perfect phrase. A guy might say a girl is needy while a girl might say a guy is clingy - it's the same behavior, in both

Ah the splitscreen golden era, gone before the huge screen golden era...

If it happened only like 10 times in the last year alone, she would use all 10 examples regardless of actual game character population as a whole. I mean, she harped on Ms. Pacman for 10 minutes of her video - she had better pull out at least a few followup examples...otherwise people might catch on that she's not

Ugh, I will be so glad when Herman Munster hair stops being popular...

"Look, you shove a drunken thug and his head will spin before he can regain balance."

Well, you're not wrong - punching something really hard with all your might will probably break something. I've seen a guy break a car window with a punch in person, and also his hand (and this, the worst of it).

I admit-I know it's not realistic, but I like space sound. I just kind of think of it like hearing what the characters hear in their ships, but in an extrapolated third person perspective. Kinda like Tony Stark's HUDs. That HUD bubble is clearly way bigger than shell head, but it's his first person perspective

Vampire LARP was fun, especially being a really snobby Ventrue with a penchant for sabotaging the throne when it didn't suit me. I once overheard somebody, who had only been in the game for a few hours and I hadn't even met, already talking about what as asshole my character was. Good times!

These bars have been around for years, and a couple of them appear to be under the same management.

That's entrapment! Gandalf totally hits the pipe weed!

Sounds like bad project management to me. In fact, I had thought the VG industry had gotten beyond that. If your game needs that much work at the end, it sounds more to me like a hail mary than a victory lap. And I think we've all seen the results there before, ahem, needs update to run properly.

The audience has to solve the puzzle to get that dungeon's hot item before the movie can proceed. There's only a 15 minute grace period built in for the movie. If your audience sucks at puzzles, you don't get to see the end of the movie. Better luck next time!

Doc Opt!

Hahaha!
