Doesn’t the Norse Pantheon have gods that serve the same roles as the Greco-Roman ones? Maybe it’s a case that these gods (and possibly ones from other mythologies) picked up the slack or extended their influence. Maybe going after Kratos is an attempt to bring order back...

I didn’t say he wasn’t? What I mean by retconned is that the world was basically destroyed at the end of GoW3 because all the Titans and Gods were dead. If they’re the ones who were responsible for maintaining the balance of the world’s various elements, what purpose would any Norse Gods serve? And why isn’t the world

haaaaaaave we? I mean really?

I just wanna know one thing. Without spoiling anything, does this game actually explain why they’ve essentially retconned the ending of God of War 3, why Norse mythology has apparently been co-existing with Greek mythology this entire time without contradicting each other, and why Kratos is, essentially, a completely

Well to be fair he did kill the first one and the review points out that his 2nd one seemingly died of natural causes. So two different situations potentially (we know there’s probably a twist in the story).

modern-day, sensitive kratos? i wish someone could create a skin where he’s wearing flannel, sporting a peaky blinders haircut and sharing about the advantages of microbrew lagers. he’s already got the beard.

I feel like all I need to know about this game is that they were comfortable enough with it to lift the review embargo 8 days early.

When does Bra’tac show up though?

I’m too lazy to look it up, but didn’t the main character in Stephen King’s The Running Man end the story by flying an airliner into a skyscraper?

Dear Margaret, things crashed into things before Star Wars. You are sounding kooky in a bad way. 9/11 postulating will never be OK, imho.

The osteoarthritis ad is post-9/11, just in case people don’t know. It’s from India. Came out after 9/11, and is just in bad taste.

Clearly, she doesn’t know that it was in fact Supertramp’s 1979 album Breakfast In America that inspired 9/11.

Remember the first one? Two guys fly a plane in the middle of something and blow that up? The only difference is, in Star Wars, they get away. Right after 9/11, they hired a bunch of Hollywood screenwriters to tell them how the story might go next. Sci-fi writers are very good at this stuff, anticipating future

Still the least crazy celebrity 9/11 conspiracy.

what the fuck is ASMR and why is this article written as if I’m supposed to know what it is?

>>> “...as Plaza notes, she’s apparently a fan of the YouTube-friendly sensory phenomenon anyway, which is why...” <<<

I don’t get ASMR and I’m too old to sit for 30 minuets to watch one. Do you get high or something? What’s the big deal?

Why are there no penalties for the false advertising? Two cases in the article have a car advertised at $6k and then the person shows up and the car is suddenly $12k or higher. Why isn’t that being addressed?

There’s a term for an RIC in the industry: an “indirect” loan. New York law says it would be a felony for a bank to directly provide a loan with a 25 percent interest rate, but if it purchases a RIC from a car dealer with a rate that high, it’s perfectly fine.

When Guerrero-Roa arrived at the dealer that day, his goal was to buy the Lexus with cash at the advertised price. But the dealer, CarsBuck, claimed that wasn’t possible due to his low credit score
