I never rooted my Thunderbolt, but great utilities (outside of all Google products since I use them heavily) -
What the others said basically:
Not sure if this avoids the teenager aspect, but I've always used a D-ring I believe it's called. (Looks like a mini-version of what climbers use.) Not too noisy, though you may have to space out which keys are next to which and/or put a couple covers on.
While I'll agree with most of the piece, some points at the end in particular seem weak if not outright wrong.
Write good, detailed emails during the evening that clearly address their issues and ask them clear questions about what they want and what they're looking for or having issues with. And set aside a good time in the early evening for them to call you - make appointments at 6:30, 7, and the like for half hour blocks.
Right. I use Google Docs for anything shared and relatively simple (for instance, someone was sending around an extended family list for phone/address/birthdays/etc., so I turned it into an editable GoogleDoc for all), but for serious spreadsheet work - Excel is it.
Nothing is even close to Excel, so good (if obvious) post.
Oh, sure. Same day as a company holiday party, and my wife's overdue. Darn, would have loved to stop in.
I just tried the DNS Jumper. Does it make sense that it seems substantially faster to load pages than it was before, or is that psychological?
One stack of advice that works for me for avoiding clutter: Dumping everything I don't have a great place for in the middle of the room as I clean. Once everything else is organized, it's a lot easier to determine where the leftovers are best (and what should just be thrown out).
I was all excited, then discovered that on my phone it needs Android 2.3. You know, the update that was supposed to hit my Thunderbolt like 4 months ago. Come on Verizon!
Ceiling fans. You save a ton on A/C by running good ceiling fans.
Great to get this app right after 9/11. Can't think of any way this would be misused... /sarcasm
Not having the issue in Firefox or Chrome.
Funny - I found the change password option, but it won't let me do so because it can't reach the Domain, which it considers my old work domain. Sigh.
I can't actually figure out how to change it - it's an old password on an old work computer that is now my home desktop. Otherwise I would...
But that says Windows 7 Professional...?
Well, I'm no longer worried about anyone else accessing it - it's an old work computer that is now my home desktop. I simply can't figure out how to get rid of needing to log in, so I'm trying to hack a way around it.
If I have a password-protected login once the computer boots up, can it login for me too in some way? The majority of my start up time is logging in.
