I have an iPad 2 with only 30% of its memory used and I have not upgraded beyond iOS 7. My brother and my iPad 2’s (he also upgraded to iOS8) are both so slow and crashy all of a sudden that they are borderline unusable for anything beyond being an e-reader. Photos app? Crashes. Internet pages? Takes forever to load

Yeah I'm in Cincinnati, and the best coffee beans i have found are weirdly from a local Pho restaurant and they import them from somewhere.. Last time I was in Chicago, I was so jealous how many small roasting shops they had that you could buy from. Anyway, thanks for the info!

Wow- I am screenshotting this and saving it to my Pocket app haha Thanks! Yeah I enjoy the craft of doing things right, and don't want to pay to automate it all, because it will never be as good. Do you have a favorite brand of bean?

I have never experienced a bad taste, but I also can’t tell the difference between Yellowtail and expensive wine even though I consume pinot noir like a champ haha. Maybe someone with a refined pallet could tell, but I can’t. I hit a point where I was just burning through bud way too quick, and that little trick helps

haha I realized there was a typo in my name after about a month, but have never fixed it. But i think the experience differs in that if you have a chauffeur, you say “bring the car around, Jenkins!” and he comes to you; same with uber, tap a button or issue a voice command, and someone brings a car specifically to

I could be wrong here, but my impression was that the US starting to drill, and the expanded use of fracking in the US is driving down all energy prices, and so Saudi Arabia is playing a zero-sum game; they are sitting on a shit load of oil wells, so they are not constantly investing in the infrastructure of drilling

The thing that blows my mind is when you look around on Google Earth at cities, it is clear that we are basically bacteria. Bacteria will attach itself to a cut in your skin and then spread; small human cities always have originated at bodies of water and spread outward.

You look me in the eye and tell me that this man is not just two of the break-room-worms from Ment in Black, standing on each other’s shoulders

I feel the same way with cooking- anybody can pour cream, sugar, or tons of butter into a dish and say its "good" (lookin at you Paula Dean), but using fresh, lean ingredients and cooking it properly is more difficult, and seeing my girlfriend love it is instant satisfaction, which is nice at the end of a day of

fold a screen like a taco and put it over half an oven of herb. works perfect and keeps a smaller amount packed well

It goes through cycles based on trends in hit movies. Twilight & True Blood did the same thing with vampires and it eventually died out

I disagree- it is already REALLY hard to not see a single spoiler each week before you watch it on your DVR, when it is only one episode at a time. If you haven’t binged it yet and the whole season is out there, you are hearing spoilers FOR SURE.

Honestly this makes me so damn impressed with Mike Judge. I had to teach myself VBA last year which was a pain in the ass having no prior coding experience, and watching this show every week was a hilarious look at how frustrating that type of work can be. Can’t wait to get home and watch the season 2 premier

that is also the cheapest model... Plus he didn’t even reference the design as part of his argument... It is about mimicking rich people having servants who do everything for them, not the watch itself.

As long as this technology is NOT adapted to work in porn... then I am indifferent to the technology. I don’t want a face full of seamen any more than the person on screen does, except they are at least being paid for it.

I really don’t know why people have a problem with him being British. That is like a company needing some guidance, but refusing to call in an outside consultant to help point out flaws in their system and offer opinions on how to fix them.

I don’t think that it is weird to do an eye-opening bit about how even though we all hate paying taxes, we NEED the people in charge of collecting them. I think this was good- if John Oliver starts ONLY tearing some organization apart every week, people will view him as a rabble-rouser; he needs to maintain legitimacy

eh- the problem though is like, if Putin wanted to take Crimea, and they settled it in the Battle Bots arena (I would pay per view that shit for SURE) Putin would be all, “You all now belong to me!” and the Ukrainians would still have an uprising against it, and have a showdown with the robot army anyway.

“Oh, you say that I can’t take over the world with my robot death-army? Well... I guess I won’t then...”

As someone who smokes a couple times a month, this is terrifying.
