Yeah- the frames are at least an improvement but when I saw someone wearing Glass for the first time, the one thing that stuck out to me is the ENORMOUS battery pack behind the ear. They only ever show women with hair covering it in ads that show a side view generally.

The design was deliberate and there was an interview with an engineer with Google who said that with this first iteration, it was most important to calm people's fears of relinquishing driving controls to a computer. People are scared of that. They said in the interview that they wanted to produce a "friendly"

THEY TOOK MUH DICK!!!

I'm pretty sure you missed the sarcasm in Keefka's post... He is making fun of how Fox News demonizes everything Obama does... He wasn't ripping on Obama...

I hope that they use this law to throw people in jail who post on Facebook things like "10 hacks to improve your morning routine" when all they do is give you tips on how to microwave milk to froth it for your coffee.

Fun fact- I once took a picture of my penis with Google Goggles and it returned an image search of sea lions.

If they can make Google Glass look like a normal pair of glasses (which means crazy improvements on battery technology so that it is not so huge) and bake this in, I would absolutely buy it before traveling abroad. It would basically be the same as having a total understanding of the language.

This guy looks like he just got stoned and wandered into a restricted area and was accused of espionage.

The point of terrorism is to scare people into giving in to your demands... So in citing a terrorist attack that is still fresh in people's minds in order to push your agenda that they otherwise would have rejected... How is that not in itself terrorism?

Honestly, as a guy with student loans and a budget to that is the result of that, I love Uber. I live 15 minutes from my downtown area and a cab ride is always about $27 plus a tip. Uber is $13 and no tip... Surge pricing sets it to the price of a regular cab.

Haha clearly I have found an enthusiast. I have actually not thought about the ramifications for those who have loved this hobby for decades, and that is really unfortunate. That being said- I would LOVE a Phantom quadcopter. The thought of being able to launch it from my backyard and live stream birds eye views of

This just reminded me how not-handy I am... I THINK that I own a saw and a hammer. That said, I am not positive.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but couldn't the FAA save everyone a headache and compromise by requiring all drones to have an altimeter and you have to keep it below whatever height planes fly at, or else face prosecution? You could even require the drones have an app that they report back to that would tattle on

I mean, that is like saying the heart does not keep you alive, and that it is simply in charge of allocating blood across your body.

Yeah, but I imagine riding the wave of a cultural love of something YOU made has to be far more rewarding than the money. I'm sure George RR Martin gets so much more enjoyment out of everyone loving his work, rather than someone going back and recreating it all and just receiving money

I trust your opinion over anyone elses because your spelling of "programme" is as good as flashing a British passport at me haha

The tough thing is that they are publicly traded and need to continue to add value to their shareholders. So they keep making incremental improvements and are neglecting risky innovation, which is a huge bummer. Thats why small startups are the only ones making crazy new ideas, and then big companies buy those, like

I haven't checked out any of those shows, but I have been meaning to give Sherlock a try

Kind of funny that the ad I got before the video about exercise, was for Ruffles potato chips

Between House of Cards, The Office, and I'm sure countless others- I wonder if British film makers are getting super tired of having short run shows and then the ideas being recreated in an American backdrop and the shows becoming wildly popular.
