This seems like a much more intelligent sounding version of something some of my fraternity brothers and I would have discussed after smoking back in college

dammit... Fuck my illiteracy hahaha

I understand that once Sony heard that the top 5 theatres in the country wouldn't screen the movie, that the insurance payout would be a larger slug of money for them by not releasing it all together. Cool- I get that. But what a chicken shit move by Paramount by pulling Team America.

They were SO CLOSE... and then they fumbled the ominous final sentence y ending it with "the Sony" hahah

Thank you very much FluffyLogic! That info is both useful and fluffy

and are those movies worth watching, or are they "criterion collection"?

In trying to change social norms, you first have to tackle the issue of online anonymity. If you walk into a store as Mark Smith, and steal a DVD and run out, there are repercussions and disgusted looks from those human beings around you. However, when you are online as PussySlayer69 and use a VPN to route yourself

I just opened Amazon Instant Video and clicked on the first movie I saw. Frickin Dolphin Tales 2 is $19.99

You switched to Kickass? So did I and here is my concern that you may be able to answer- I use a VPN, remote DNS, and a torrent proxy through Vuze; When I would download a torrent from TPB, it would auto launch Vuze with the torrent file.

This is where I am confused. When I used to go out and purchase a DVD, it cost $20, and I owned it. I could make a digital file using Handbrake, I could let a friend borrow it, watch it on my Xbox, DVD player, etc.

Honestly, I torrent media, but I also pay for Netflix and Hulu Plus. Will I go out and purchase the Mark Wahlberg Transformers movie for $20 on DVD/BluRay? Absolutely not. Would I be willing to pay for a more premium streaming service that has a much better selection of movies? ABSOLUTELY. I regularly pay to see

"We will not release your information as long as you send us your social security number, date of birth, mother's maiden name, and credit card number with the 3 digit code on the back" - Love, The Nigerian Pri- I mean... GOP.

Except for people not properly adding Dothraki subs haha

I actually wokr in finance but I will admit I wish I knew more about the financial effects of war. I know that it funnels money into the GDP if you have domestica weapons manufacturers supplying your war paraphernalia, but I would love if someone has a link to any historical case studies

Did I say that it works 100% of the time? All I'm saying is that it is a gamble to recover an economy in a current trough, that world leaders often attempt to implement.

War stimulates the economy. If you look at the history of recessions, they are often ended by war. Look at Nazi Germany; after WWI the allied powers saddled them with insurmountable amounts of war debt and the economy was sucking a fat dick. Cue WWII and Hitler stirring shit up and it stimulated their economy to

Great- now I can hand my phone to a cop, unlocked, for him to take back to his car and check out. No thanks.

Right- I try to avoid the extra caffeine ones because I don't like drinking additives when I can avoid it (and no, I do not have any scientific knowledge to back up my concerns. Just good old-fashioned paranoia) and the pods where you add your own coffee I don't think work any better.

PLAYER 3 HAS ENTERED THE GAME

My office only has a Keureg and I HATE it. I don't know if its all in my head, but I don't think it gives you much caffeine. I can dome kuereg coffee all day and be drowsy, but if I walk next door to the UDF by my office, I grab a cheap cup of coffee and it wakes me up instantly.
