I’m just trying to find screwy road layouts to play wacky boards. Turns out Lombard Street in San Fran isn’t as exciting as you think. (Try to find short roundabouts—its like watching Pac in a centrifuge and any second he’ll slingshot out.)

Trouble is the game only takes a zoomed-in portion of the map from what you’re looking at—in other words, if you have a couple hundred miles on your screen laid out, it’s going to zoom in and take only a few blocks somewhere in that area to use for a game board.

Uh no. Seven Samurai doesn't have over-the-top bloodletting like that.

Larry's power-up ability: manos des piedros!

Actually, that's just the modern Internet way: read only the headline, bitch about it and then shut up. Case in point: NPR last April 1st played a small prank on readers with the headline "Why Doesn't America Read Anymore?", and if you clicked the article, it showed that they were only kidding, and to keep quiet and

But again—if it's Iron Man, then it's neither new nor different.

I'm okay with this. I was never a fan of his naked bike shorts look anyways.

My thought as well—after all, it does say, all-new, all-different. If it were Stark, then that'd just make the whole thing a lie.

What's with the immodestly dressed dancing girls at level completion screen? Does the game really need titillation for success?

Ah, but MSX wasn't an MS-owned console. Also, the game was retooled by Komami's Ultra division for U.S. Nintendo audiences. Snake's Revenge was not a official sequel and had no involvement by Kojima.

Um, I think you replied to the wrong comment. I said he would be interested in Sony more than MS, since Sony treated him very well.

...and yet, the MGS series had only a handful of appearances on Xbox products. (MG Rising doesn't count—Kojima did not direct/produce the game, and the HD collection again was ported, years after Sony fans had been playing all the games). As big as Kojima is, he's largely unknown by Xbox audiences. Sony would be

Come on, MGO2 lasted a good long time. Yes, hackers abound, and Konami did little to fix it, but they came out with DLC regularly and gave the fans quite a bit of free stuff with it.

You do know the vast majority of his work was developed for Playstation exclusively or ported over from Playstation versions, right?

Ah, but Kojima does have the concept of April 1 firmly in place. He's renowned for pulling pranks on fans that day.

Look harder. There's plenty of noodle shops on the north side.

Grave of the Fireflies was so good, I never want to see it again. It was depressing as hell and emotionally draining to watch.

But that stage 1 transformation with the ultra-bulky calves and super tiny feet... What were they thinking?
