Ah, okay. So this wouldn't work if he took the pot with water and vacuum sealed bag and put it on the stove...would it? I guess that would be the purpose of the specific utility for it.

Thanks for that heads up, I actually don't see the TRUSTe stuff, but I'll not use it.

I really prefer mpd and ncmpcpp. Sure I haven't gotten the network streaming to work, but local use, it's fantastic!

I didn't even know the FanBoy and EasyList lists existed for IE9. Thanks a bunch for peaking my curiosity!

I feel the same about this as I do about using LastPass and 1Password, uneasy.

I'm no cook, but I'm just noticing some things my dad does when cooking. Now, this isn't the same as putting the meat, while vacuum sealed, in a pot of water to defrost it...is it? At least I think he's defrosting it that way...

Would a paper clip help? If so, that's just another use for god damn paper clips.

So meta.

Moved to Arch before the Gnome2 option was removed.

If I understood correctly from the previous article on this subject, the files on the 4S were/are encrypted. Snagging them from a 4S and getting it work on the 4 would require decrypting them. Which would be breaking the law and such.

I was 5 during the N64's launch. Game breaking bugs didn't occur to me since I didn't really adhere to the story or the goal at hand, not until I was 10 or 11 that is. I do agree with you that developers should do proper QA testing to get the gold out of the gate, though, the technology is available. That isn't a

Something about the "fix later via update" beats the shit out of "deal with a game breaking bug for every play-through".

I've played around with it for maybe 30 minutes now, and I find pretty fantastic. Put some things in perspective and brought back some memories as I 'starred' some old posts/tags.

Timeline is just for profiles. The "default login" interface is still the same, just when you go to someone's profile, you see ALL their shit splayed out. Or whatever they let you, or what you're willing, to see.

Yeah, I could. Or, I could use my phone on the day-to-day without needing to wait for it to respond thanks to iOS 4's slowdowns on the 3G. And no, the latest iOS 4 [4.2.1] for the 3G doesn't help at all despite what some people say.

I got a "traditional" mount from monoprice for about the same and it's quite high quality and complicated. Well, is a wall-mount really that complicated? I just bolted it into the studs and it has it's own attachments on the back of the TV that then attach to the wall part quite securely. It supports up to a 55"

And it requires iOS4. Well, I'm out.

Pfft, they'll probably pass off the locating thing as a "privacy problem" and keep the iMessage issue because it "isn't."

I don't plan on buying this, but out of sheer curiosity I will submit a question.

It was my understanding, from several Shark Weeks, that sharks are quite curious creatures and like to explore where a sound or odd visual originates. Whether or not that can be lead into an attack, eh. I saw that last year at some point.
