Well, this update just broke the apps function for me in Ubuntu. It's been broken in Windows.

@swc oxcart: You know, I tried it and it didn't work. Then just now Chrome updated to from v5 to v6 on Ubuntu and apps just started giving me the same issues as the Windows version.

@Tsylord: I originally got it working with the iPC version.

Well, they did it. The only thing I'm looking forward too with iOS 4.1 is the fixens for the 3G.

@swc oxcart: I've done that, copied and pasted the exact code. I know it's "path/to/chrome.exe—enable-apps" [obviously an actual space in place of the " and that fails to work. Works just fine with my Ubuntu install. Both Canary and my beta installs fail to enable anything on Windows 7. Odd though, because my beta

I couldn't get it working. I can't get apps enabled either. I have the flag on the shortcut and I even tried starting Chrome via command prompt with the startup flags and I got nothing...

I've done it a couple times, it's helped me kick start a boring day of walking around the mall into something fun. I also now have a group of people I know to talk to before and after my classes instead of walking around the college campus antisocially. Though after the two whole times I've used it, it hasn't been

@JGB: A lot more than you think do. Nearly all of Intel's that aren't in the Pentium series [well, a few do] or Atom [well...7 do] do support it. [ark.intel.com]

@Faxmonkey: I used GMail to manage my contacts far before I got an iPhone. Then Google supported MS-Exchange and then I did get an iPhone. Now all my contacts are in the cloud and are automatically synced to and from my iPhone [along with my calenders and email].

@Altima NEO: iPhone guy here; I don't use iTunes for anything. I just need it installed so my replacement music syncing program can put music on my device. Other than that, it's all SSH.

@RodofGod: You sir, are fucking awesome.

@ZaxxonQ.com: And that's why I'll be shattered if my original fatty PS3 ever breaks. It'd leave me with a stack of PS2 games I still love playing.

@DirtyColossus: This Crysis is going to be severely dumbed down to run on consoles and should be better optimized for PC's

Fine and dandy, but I'll probably stick to Limited Edition. I can't justify $150 for a game and a bunch of stuff that'll just take up space.

@cocomojoe2: Well, it's more YEAR.MONTH but yes [Karmic was 9.10, released October 2009]

@BrettKS: Yup you're right, it's Linux; not too sure about Windows though.

The main thing I'm concerned with is the available RAM...my poor 3G only has 28MB on average...

@IoWn3rU: That's a bit of a selling point for me. Though the game doesn't look like it adds anything new which is a major drawback.

I've had adblock+ installed in Chrome, and I haven't noticed any ads in YouTube or Hulu.
