I just check for updates for drivers at the end of the month. Everything else tends to check for updates by itself.

You know what, my PS2 from 2000 still works, the drive is a little shot, but it works beautifully.

In a class I took, they wanted us to do the work on the labs computers and put it on the 200MB network drive they gave us. This is nice, buuuutt, is there a way for my computer to know that my Receiver is off, and it'll change output from Digital Audio S/PDIF to Speakers Analogue? Or an easier way to switch than the output? I haven't really looked into autohotkey yet, so is anyone willing to help me on this?

@oneshot719: Well, I intend of using it to have an image backed-up to an internal storage drive so if crap goes wrong, I can just use the restore image like nothing happened. The HDD is acting a little flaky, so I may need to replace it and I'd like to have an image to use.

Ok, I can get as far as making the image, but how would I be able to use it? Would I be able to use it with the Win7 Installer?

@echo off: I second a Linux Live CD...or atleast a disc with just GParted on it. KillDisk is another option to just write 0's to the drive.

@Blueluck: I'd say Jolicloud or the Ubuntu Netbook Remix. They're pretty much the same in looks.
