Um, read a road test from the era. Bob Bondurant called the 308 "Probably the best sports car I have ever driven." And Dan Gurney said that the 308 GTB was just like a road-going GT40.

Flat-12 = 1 piston per crank.

Actually, although it is called a "Boxer" it has a 180-degree V-12. Bro.

Not. Legal.

Woah.

Funny. I see it as a Shelby American thing. Perhaps it is generations.

Yes, yes, yes and yes.

Definitely worth the price of admission. Most Lotus' of this era, although somewhat flimsy, use many and most parts from other manufacturers. Lights, door handles, and mirrors are all sourced from different companies. Is almost like they were built as "Kit" or "Component" cars. Either way, this thing looks

This is great news! Thanks!

According to the car's owner (On F-Chat), the car has been found with minimal damage! Great news!

The black fascias and lower sills are known as "Boxer Trim" and this paint scheme, plus the HRE wheels makes this 308 very distinctive. The owner has mentioned that its the only one of its kind in the area. A car like this can't be "Invisible" for long.

Oh my god. Landscape, bitch.

Wow. Brilliant Stratos, I'm surprised that I haven't seen it since he's local.

It's only 7% less creepy...

Why was David Reutimann stopped? It seems to me that Reutimann came to a complete stop while the cars in front of him continued... So, Reutimann took out two rookies with an idiotic pit-lane stop. Nice.

Although, I've got a BMW GS Adventure with a 9+ gallon tank, I do agree with you. (It's awesome for the long haul, getting 360+ miles per tank on knobbies and with those huge aluminum square cases on the back.)

Thanks, dude. Thankfully another team has green given a shot to run.

Mind. Blown.

What about the "Garage 56" entry?

Wow. The 4C has a much better appearance in the "Real World." It's very wide and sits quite low, not unlike a 308. Breathtaking!
