None of those cars existed in the ‘80s. They were all released in the early-mid ‘90s. V6 Camry and Accord weren’t too far from the Maxima in size and power, but that’s now how they were positioned in the market.

Maxima, IIRC, was positioned above Camry, Accord as a competitor to Avalon, Mitsu Diamante, Mazda Millenia.
