If he means OBD II came out in 1996, then he’s right. But he probably doesn’t mean that, because how the hell would he know something that detailed when he doesn’t know the basics?

Only feature that could make this E30 less desirable to me is an auto.

Lowrider minitruck

First gen Dakota was pretty cool, but the lumpy nose era Dodge trucks are terrible unless they have a 5.9 Cummins under hood. Even then, still ugly.

Pass mirror is actually larger in area, just stubbier. Lots of cars have a smaller mirror on that side.

Meh....

W124 is the E-Class of yesteryear.

The steering wheel is a 1980's wood Grant GT that wouldn’t look out of place in a car driven by Jerry Butler, the porn star. Surely you’ve heard of him.

Can’t believe this jagoff didn’t shave those during the respray.

Looks like he’s standing ‘til you see the stick coming out his ass.

I predict zero pushback on this one.

If that wasn’t obvious....

Had the hugest crush when I was a kid.

Don’t need the damn thing to be “crazy” on the outside.

RL isn’t bad. Second gen Legend and Integra are Acura’s best showing, IMO.

Qualifier:

It’s not a car I’d want to own either, TBH. But the styling is excellent for what it is.

Exactly this, except you skipped E34 which is the best looking BMW sedan of all.

Third gen ES is a damn good looking car too, as well as first and second gen GS, and all LS until 2007.

Not “surprisingly” well. BMW design is fairly timeless.
