Is that somehow a defense of your statement? Because it's pretty weak.

Maybe he just wanted us to have some context. You're just assuming he's trying to sound cool, which says more about you.

Judgmental much?

Since iCloud rolled out, I'm pretty sure that's the case. Everything backs up wirelessly and I don't think you even have to connect to iTunes to activate an iPhone anymore. (Can't say for sure, haven't had an iPhone since the 3GS) I don't have any experience with them, but I know there are other music management

Sense of humor much?

You should probably redo life.

I kind of dig the old RCA logo :(

Didn't that get Mythbusted?

I've given desktop email clients multiple chances and have found that the practice you described is still more practical.

Wait, what? You're saying Macs cost more than comparable PC's? Wow! You should really look into a career in journalism. Seriously, you should be getting paid for this enlightening information.

That being said, I do really dig this line.

"Game over for Apple and its lead in hardware."

"If you can fix your car you are significantly smarter than someone who can't."

I also disagree with your sentiment about DD-WRT. I've only installed and configured it once (on an old Linksys WRT54G), and while it wasn't the most user-friendly process, it really wasn't that bad. That was two years ago, and I haven't had to log in to it since then.

For a dual-band N router, that's actually a decent price. And I'll take Airplay over a bunch of ethernet ports I'll never use any day.

Ok, I understand your point, but I don't get how you can say that Apple is simply abandoning it's customers when every iOS device gets regular updates over it's life span, while every non-nexus android device might get one update over the same amount of time. Maybe... MAYBE... two updates.

THANK GOD! That was one of my biggest pet peeves with iOS. I switched to Android after my iPhone 3G contract ran out, and was ecstatic that the Android Market handled that properly.

Yeah, but not particularly well. (at least in my experience) I've only had HTC Android devices, and Sense/Facebook/Twitter integration is a buggy, hot mess.

I'm really not trying to troll here, everybody has their own way of doing things and all, but I don't think I've ever found myself wishing I could do that. Hell, I had no idea any phone did that.

Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly want to have to deal with a dongle, but is it really that big of a deal? Is it that inconvenient to leave a small adapter in your laptop bag?
