Thanks - means one less person standing in line in front of me when I go. :)

For All Mankind has sucked me in. I get it if there aren’t people interested in it, but it’s actually some decent writing. Russians land on the moon first back in the 60's, and so America’s working to get the US there. The second time Russians land, they put a woman on the moon, and from there, it’s on to get a base,…
Am I the only person who saw that tent thing on the back of the Cybertruck and thought how much it resembled the Pontiac Asstek - I mean, Aztek?
To a context point of where they show the power of the male over the female (i.e., Tyrion having his way with whores because he’s not respected), I can KIND of allow it. The Khal Drogo incident, I can KINDA go along with that, as well, considering that it set up a later “angry woman overthrowing the male dominated…
We don’t have proof of intelligent extraterrestrial life. Think about it for a minute - If there really WERE aliens, Trump would have leaked their existence as soon as he got into the White House. That, or they would have come down and said, “Oh, geez, we’re so sorry. Glorb got out of his cage again and disguised…
In deference to Gunn and Hamill’s friendly relationship, maybe we’ll hear Mark do some of his wonderful VO work? He was great in Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance as one of the Skeksis, as the narrator of Hulu’s Dimension 404, and of course, we all know and love him as Joker on Batman: The Animated Series.
That’s a fair argument, I just think that getting rid of the “ladykiller spy” James Bond to flip the roles is a bad idea. I won’t go see a James Bond movie because they changed it from James to Jane.
Superhero shows are dead, apparently. Much as I don’t want to believe it, the network execs are killing them off left and right.
Moneypenny might be an interesting spin out of the Bond universe, but honestly? I’ve kinda lost interest in the franchise. The Craig era of Bond seems to be falling flat - no exploding pens, Q seems to be some introverted hacker as opposed to the wonderful Desmond Llewelyn or even John Cleese’s version of the gadgeteer…
I was thinking the same thing - he must be a wonder with the blush!
I know, there’s one that my optometrist has that flickers lines at the edges of my vision, and I’m supposed to click a button when I see it. I always think of it in the back of my mind as measuring my reaction time, even though it’s not.
YEP!!! My optometrist said they can now figure it out by doing a different test, which, thanks to whatever deities are out there, I am SO happy for. It used to take 2-3 minutes for my eyes to stop freaking out from the puff of air, being itchy and irritated.
LOL I wonder sometimes if people are throwing stuff in there just to mess with me - “Ok, this time, we’re gonna put in the ‘A’, and we’re gonna tell people it stands for ‘Aardvarks’ because we want to mess with them.”
That does make more sense. It’s still kinda confusing, and I PRAY that anyone who tells me that they’re pansexual, if I make a minor faux pas in understanding, that they’ll let it slide a bit. :) But thank you VERY much for taking the time to try and explain it to someone who’s a little thick headed in trying to grasp…
Cox did something similar to me. I was paying $70/mo for 50mbps (no cable tv, no phone, JUST internet). Then they implemented bandwidth caps. I got like, 250 GB/mo for that same $70/mo. So then they upped my bandwidth to 75mbps - but kept the cap the same. Turns out I started consuming more when that happened, and got…
I’m waiting to see what they have for those of us who already have Hulu - I don’t want to have to cancel my current subscription and sign up anew just to get everything together. Hulu and Disney+ are all I really need out of it; my household is not a sports household except for World Series/Super Bowl, and those are…
On a completely different note - If we’re going to describe the non-heterosexual people, can we work on a better term or acronym than LGBTQIA? I get it - it pretty much represents everyone in that community, but hell’s bells, that’s an alphabet soup there!
I might have to make the jump from my 2b to a 4 with the memory maxed out. Might actually be able to play Space Ace and Dragon’s Lair smoothly, and definitely play all of my Genesis, SNES, and NES titles. (And yes, I know it can technically do more - but that’s all my wife and I use the Pi for LOL)
The other issue is that America has freedom of speech; China does not. By doing what they did, whether it’s morally right or wrong, they can absolve themselves of legal issues from the Chinese government.
Thank you! And thanks to everyone for helping me to understand it a bit better. From what I’m gathering, it’s more of a way to say that you’re attracted to a more inclusive group than just saying, “I’m bi,” because maybe you’re attracted to transsexuals (who are say, genetically male, but identify as female or have…
