Your sense of humor is really dialed in

This. Is. Genius!!!

Yeah, I’m glad someone else brought up the point that cars make enough road noise at speed that an additional sound is redundant.

It’s research. If you want to make a humanoid robot, you have to get data of it doing human things. This just happens to be entertaining research. If they can make a robot that can ride a bike well, they can use it for a ton of experiments (without endangering actual people). Also, a bike riding robot that can ride

That. Is. Awesome!

Or...instead of killing it, sell it and buy more Jeeps! You know you want to! The people will understand!

Haters gonna hate! That’s a fine looking minivan! Seriously though, looks surprisingly good

That is literally the best armoured vehicle ever. So inconspicuous! The best defence is never having to use an offence

They know this is faster, they’re just trying to do it reliably. That’s why the Chiron is still speed restricted. Plus, it needs to be fast in a way that gets delivered to the customers. They’re doing engineering the proper way.

Yes!!!

The original Enterprise! Shooting at some kind of robot thing

haha, Who knows, maybe the dude who owns it is named Boldy

Boldy go where no van has gone before!

Sadly, you have to make organisations work hard to move the world forward. If the government let these companies do what they wanted for the bottom line, then the world would be an even bigger mess than it already is. I mean, look at the difficulty in getting rid of coal power in the states due to lax regulations.

Because fun?

Haha, truth! The Oppo farm is the crop that keeps on giving. They used to do the hat tips at least to the original posters

So, are you guys getting paid to dig into Tesla or something? This article is semi-understandable, but even when they did a good thing for people in the hurricane zone, you all made it sound like it was the start of the robot uprising.

Company does a good thing, becomes a villain in a sci-fi plot. The guy bought the lower range model, so he knew exactly what he was getting. It’d be like Apple giving away apps for free in an emergency, or broadband internet unlocking the full bandwidth available to help people out. It’s all there and readily

I could see people buying the lesser ranged model by choice too, it may help the longevity of the battery pack

I really don’t think the problem is that the electric cars get power from coal, it’s that the USA is so reliant on coal power to begin with. It’s a bigger issue, which the government should be trying much harder to mitigate. In other markets, the coal power issue couldn’t even be raised.
