One thing though, is that the MCM guys really did do theirs on a budget, engine and all. The Roadkill guys had this massively built engine sitting around, but to actually build that engine would be a pretty penny I think. Something to consider if you’re going to get serious about that episode.

Hub motors are a great option too. It’d leave the majority of the vehicle unchanged, thus sparing a lot of hassle. I remember some professor made a kit that could supposedly be added to a majority of vehicles a while back.

It looks like....any other single exhaust car. I get that most cars with any performance pedigree have duals or some kind of center thing now, but this is at least honest.

It’s his house and his property, so he’s totally allowed to do it assuming it passes all local laws. It’s not like he’s being crazy noisy or something. This is something that does not disrupt the quality of life of the other people in the neighborhood while they’re on their own property.

I used to have a wagon and racks, and I’d fill everything up. It really depends what you’re up to

I may be the odd one out here, but I definitely would. I mean, why not?

That is mind blowing! Congrats on the crazy engineering. I love what’s actually possible to do now with 3D printing.

As I recall, the VW diesel system worked within the parameters of the test, and then polluted heavily outside of it. This was in normal operation, not just during the EPA test. So, the test taking analogy kind of falls apart there.

I honestly thought #1 was just going to be “A Lawyer”

They really opened up a can of worms with this whole diesel thing. Seeing how all companies design their cars (both diesel and gas) to perform well in EPA testing, I have no doubt that as soon as you take them outside of the regular testing conditions they’ll all pollute at much higher levels. Lawsuits for everyone!

It might be normal for a friend, but police are supposed to exhibit more professionalism

Fun fact! As a large portion of populated areas have been covered by roads and buildings for decades now, natural and unnatural (water main leaks) forms of erosion have been occurring beneath populated areas undetected. All the sink holes lately are just the beginning. Cities should really consider doing testing

For anyone happy about this, I invite you to look at the smog problems that China is facing at the moment. Good luck, and I hope you don’t have asthma

I’m stoked that they actually saved the test van!

Can I get it in Canada? Who do I throw my money at? These are questions that need answers!

The AWD Charger and AWD Ford PI seem pretty excellent choices all around. I wonder how different their price points are for the police editions?

Yesssss! Stripped out models are my favorite already. Even if a stripped out 4x4 version was 15k, that would still be fantastic.

That happy look just screams “today’s the day I burn this motha down”
