Finally, a sensible person. See it blind and then see it again to properly digest it. It’s rare that a twist can properly reframe a whole film in a meaningful way.

That’s simply not true. An ending that purposefully reframes what was you’ve just watched or seen is meant to be watched intact at least once.I agree that a story is about more than a twist, but a twist can sometimes be part of making a good story great.
Time spent looking at the stars is never wasted. :)
You’re right and it’s just baffling. Personally, I think should force fitness apps like that to use HealthKit (if the user wants to). It’s literally better for everyone.
Does Fitbit not hook into HealthKit on iOS? That’s a bit of an oversight on fitbits part if you ask me.
Nope. “Kill your darlings.” But you’re not wrong in discussing what a waste of time and money this was.
But the options you shoot alwats have a purpose. You don’t just film random shit and hope the cool shot is something the editors will take a shine to. A film this big costs a lot to shoot indie hour.
No. But they don’t tend to have ‘indie hour’ either. Maybe had he not messed around with cool but useless shots, the film would have been better.
Pixar and this are something different. Selling a film with a short film is one thing. Outright fabricating shots that are sold as part of the film that were never going to be in the film is just false advertising.
*meant to care about. Whether it achieves that or not is up for discussing. I certainly wondered why I should care.
It’s Star Wars. Calm down.
Well the best films combine those cool looking moments with actual storytelling. It’s exemplary of a lot of issues with the film. Payoffs that just didn’t deserve it and were there because they looked cool, not because they were set up or told a story. Indie film makers don’t film things because they look cool, they…
I don’t disagree but the general perception is something else I think - a drive you can use for backups and transfers.
Amazing it’s that small. Though that drive wouldn’t fit in any USB port on my computer without taking things to the sides of it out.
No no. don’t be silly. the pilot shouldn’t be piloting things. he should be plugging things in
Sir, I give you permission to drop the mic. Genuinely learned something. Thanks!
It’s strange how people just losing things has become the manufacturers issue.
LOVED tonights episode. Really one of my favourites. A solid dose of sci fi.
I’m not. Moore used Potter in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen - Century 2009.
