So now we will see a class action suit against AT&T for false advertising on their coverage maps? I feel like sitting back in my chair with a box of popcorn. This might just get interesting.

It really would be great if this tech can be built into standard switches for your network. Hooking up an HDTV anywhere you have a CAT5/6 plug sounds great. Hopefully it'll take a while to get cheap though, I have at least 3 more years life in my current HDMI set. ;P

Um.. here's how to get it on your 3Gs, go to app store, search for "imovie" and buy the app. It it offered on the 3Gs just the same as the iPhone 4. No HD recording but it works.

My 3Gs is much faster with iOS4. Camera is no longer laggy (less blurry pics), works better in lower light, Folders have cleaned up my mess of apps, and even Safari seems faster. No clue what it is like on a 3G but I won't be downgrading any time soon.

Pfft.. I won't be buying the IP4, I will however be buying the IP5 after it has been out a few months. I use a heavily armored case for my 3GS and it has never failed me through tons of abuse. My guess is you should be looking into something similar for the IP4 once they are available:

I'll go for option #6: "I'm not paying extra for one, my 3GS contract still isn't up! $400 for something that can't run flash and view 100% of the web is just plain silly. The iPhone 5 will probably have 1080p video recording and a 10mp camera anyway. ;P

Hmm.. good. Hopefully the 2G network will just crash permanently and AT&T will be left with only their 3G customers, or about 10% of their actual customer base lol. They'll then have to put 3G everywhere or shut the h*ll up about being the biggest/fastest/bestest network in the universe.

I have one phone that is up on its contract 7/30/2010 and they have not given me an early upgrade. Another phone is due in 11/2010 and no early upgrade on it either. If they are giving these upgrades out early it isn't widespread.

@Christopher Friend: Lets see.. having to live at work just to survive, that's no life. Pay them enough to afford housing outside of work, lower their hours to a normal work day and you might make them feel like their lives aren't so worthless. Get a clue Foxconn.
