Really impressive work but I thought the script, acting and characterizations were a bit ... crap. Probably overly harsh of me to say so but I really did not care for it at all. Production values and editing were seriously good though.

I’d sooner put my foot through the TV than let my child watch this. It was a brutal experience as a child for me and I’m not putting one of my own through the same thing. **** that noise and **** that movie.

This being Star Wars, I’m half-surprised the bloody thing wasn’t previously owned by someone famous, like Palpatine himself, and accidentally left behind on Tatooine when the Dark Lord stopped by a as part of his wider trip visiting all 6 inhabited planets in the galaxy.

I think that kind of reveal worked a lot better in the comic than it would in a tv show and, honestly, the buildup to that over, what 60 comics, wouldn’t really be that big of a payout for audiences except for fans of the comic.
