Someone needs to leak that Xbox 360 remake of this that was almost finished when it got axed due to rights issues. Not for the improved graphics but because the controls on the original are terrible and they did a great job remapping them for the Perfect Dark remake they ended up doing after Goldeneye got cancelled. 

Oh, I get who it’s for: commuters and other people (potentially kids, yes) who play single player games exclusively/predominantly off-dock.

But it’s not for kids explicitly. The beauty of the original Switch was that you could detach the Joycons, flip out the kick stand and let the kids play. Now, assuming they didn’t…

So they jettisoned everything unique and wonderful about the Switch, while effectively upping the price? And the screen’s significantly smaller because they couldn’t bother to go bezeless?

Jesus Christ, Nintendo, what are you doing? I can only hope the other half of that rumor, the Switch “Pro”, isn’t so disappointing.

I don’t typically like this style of game, but if it sticks the landing - I’m about 15 hours in - it is absolutely going to be my game of the year. It’s genuinely incredible.

For all the great things Omega has done in the business, the fact that his moveset has required Jim Ross to say the phrases “V-Trigger” and “One Winged Angel” is the greatest.
