Well, I for one would choose the lower speed to hit something at, and would have thought that to be generally obvious...but here we are.

Honestly, we are at least 5 years beyond where we should have started and there could have been a commonsense stair step approach. If in 2015 we mandated that by 2025 all vehicles be HEV or PHEV’s and then 2035 BEV’s we would have better lead time to solve the issues.

Or how about this, we don’t have to work 40+ hours a week for companies who aren’t satisfied with profiting Billions of dollars, driving 30+ miles a day, sitting in hours worth of traffic.

How many times did you recharge your iPhone in those 3 years? Daily? Because that’s 1095 charge cycles. If your EV has a range of 250 miles per charge, that would be 273 o0o miles on the odometer before you get to “only 80% capacity”.
