Is a sticker misprint the same as installing cheat software that made cars catastrophically, constantly fail emissions standards?

AKA ignore all the spam/junk mail you get in regards to extending your warranty.
Old people drive “young people” cars because:
CVT’s aren’t the problem, the CVT they put into the Maxima is.
If you remove the “resuspension” component, EV’s are a clear improvement. What exactly do they think they are re-suspending, if not the road particulates from the gas and diesel vehicles?
As far as I can tell, the only reason why hydrogen fuel cells are popular is because they’re trendy (which continues the cycle).
Rotary with some type of electric assist?
Hah, Toyota doesn’t want to throw away money on diesels so they throw away money on hydrogen fuel cells instead.
They’re paying for vaporware with vapormoney.
The Insurance Institute For Highway Safety says nearly half of all fatal crashes in the U.S. occur during half of the day. The other half of fatal crashes occur in the other half of the day.
The EPA has the duty to ensure cars are meeting our environmental standards. Personally any car that does not meet current standards should not be imported. The year they enter the country should be the standard not when they were made.
Nah, VW owners think their cars are appreciating assets.
The “speed” of a 3D printer relative to other fabrication methods depends on the complexity of the part you’re making. For instance, simple shapes like a small cube could probably be made faster manually.

You do agree that using “up to” renders the 84 MPG claim by Elio entirely irrelevant. I will leave it at that.
All TDI’s already sold in the US get a mulligan. Don’t fix them, don’t punish the owners. Let’s just accept it happened and that TDI’s are a tiny tiny tiny part of the US road fleet.
I have no idea what you are getting at with your “objections” to my EPA comments. I have already clearly stated that an individual may get something different.
The EPA numbers are not an “up to” proposition. “Up to” 84 MPG includes 2 MPG. There is no way the EPA would allow anyone to post an EPA number of 84 MPG if the real world car got only 2 MPG.
See, you’re already taking the EPA number as a guarantee. The EPA rating IS already an “up to” statement. The rating is for comparison purposes only.
So they can’t even speculate until the EPA gives it a rating?
