My father-in-law is a pretty huge classist, tea-party asshole. We got married in Hawaii, but had a reception when we got back at a VERY exclusive hoity-toity club. He made a huge deal about making sure our friends didn't embarrass him by getting too drunk at the club and tarnishing his good name.
