Seriously Matt, you wrote this? You just happened to start using the word "awesome" in every sentence, and tossing in exclamation points at random?

I'm fine with Ray's sponsored content, but when he writes sponsored content, it should be marked as such. And if this doesn't qualify as sponsored content, but rather

Wow. Yeah, this was me, too. Not that I've solved the problem by any means, I've just managed to take the smoking out of the equation. Smoking makes the loneliness more bearable, but it makes it easier to retreat, too. I haven't smoked for years now, but the behaviors that cause me to withdraw, to be lonely if not

Saying no one cares makes it sound like there are no financial incentives attached to these raises. Is this true? Because people care about feeding their own, and they care about advancing their careers, so I'm sure they care about the title, too.

Very true. I'm not trying to excuse her behavior, it sucks. She unnecessarily started a nasty altercation.
But, escalating the situation with a disproportionate reaction based on some ridiculous concept of what the appropriate hypermasculine course of action would be, such as laying her out, THAT'S how wars start.

Dude, do you really think a small woman slapping a man deserves a response of "taking them down as hard as necessary?" What level would be necessary here, she walked away; chase her down and lay her out? Protecting yourself from being hurt is one thing, laying out some woman who lost her shit after a race is entirely

This is amazing. I asked myself this question a few years ago. So, I followed your chart, answered maybe two questions, and BOOM, you recommended exactly what I bought, for the exact reasons I bought it.
(77 Honda Civic, for the record. And it is pretty simple.)

Matt, I refuse to believe that you wrote this. This is 100% Ray Wert Ultra Dude Bro Hyperbole or my name's not Enrico Palazzo.

I really want a white first-gen Acura NSX. And I've never seen one. Yeesh, maybe they look butt-terrible in person; I wouldn't know. The silver looks very good, the black pretty dang good, the white I JUST DON'T KNOW AND IT'S KILLING ME.

I've never seen a white Testarossa in person either, but that's a bit more

WOAH, hate?

This being the internet, this is the point where the script says I have to attack you for disagreeing with my opinions. But I appreciate the response and the honesty.

How much do you love foxbody Mustangs?

If forced to choose by some obscene governmental regulation or internet commenter, if you could only work on and modify one make of automobile from here on out, which company would you choose, and why?

Thanks!

Yeah, that list pretty much sums it up, I guess. Corvette I'd call a sports car, too. "Sports car" is such a subjective, broadly used term now, that it's hard to really call any one definition correct. But traditionally, it's a lightweight, small car, two seats or 2+2, designed for handling. RWD too, but when the term

Thank you!
I think the problem, at least for me, lies in getting the car classified as a "collector motor vehicle." It order to be registered as a collector vehicle, sales must not exceed 2,000 per model year in California OR vehicle is no longer in production, it must be only used to drive to shows, parades, etc, and

Hey Joe, I'm originally from Michigan, too, so I'm familiar with that scene. The sad thing about the Dream Cruise is most of those cars sit in a garage six months each year. I love Michigan, don't get me wrong, and people there loooove cars, but the environment constricts how often you can enjoy cars, and how well

I knew about the #2, smog regs being dependent on county of registration, but I am not sure I understand #1.
My understanding (and let me be clear, my understanding is pretty limited, I'm not claiming factual knowledge here) was that you could modify any car as much as you want, so long as the engine belongs to the

Absolutely nothing, sorry. It started off as one of the irreverent "Thanks Obama" blame-him-for-everything unfunny jokes, then I corrected it to full name, so it was neither funny nor pertinent. Just distracting.

I hear you. The Veyron is much more a muscle car than a sportscar. It's a brute.
And the Smart Car is a good example. By the basic description of a sportscar, a lot of older economy cars qualify just because they are RWD and light; both qualities which were just products of the times rather than objectives. So maybe

It's not about speed, it's about handling dynamics. Sports cars aren't the fastest cars. Power and laptimes have little to do with it. A GT500 will destroy pretty much any sportscar around any track, but it's not a sportscar.

Agreed. The weather is great, and there are some unbelievable driving roads in NorCal, too. I'm in San Francisco, been here 13 years, and I'm not sticking around because it's affordable. But the positives definitely outweigh the negatives, in my experience.

This is the kind of question that starts fights.
