That looks very good in that color.

Beautiful.

It's a bit far-fetched to call it one of the greatest brown cars of all time, but I'm a fan of the metal flake brown on my 77 Civic. This color can also be found on the bowling balls of ostentatious yet reserved old men, and the vinyl seating of stylish bumper cars.

I hear you. I respect the ingenuity behind doing things with limited resources, just as you do. I just wish it had a more positive term, because we do think it's an impressive thing. People should call it wizard-rigging!

Yeah, saying something was done poorly and crudely, or at the least improperly, and attributing those qualities to a specific race, as if they embody those qualities...how could that not be seen as offensive? Whether an individual takes offense or not is a different story, but the term is still inherently offensive.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet. Even the elevated Muni stops (such as along the T-line on Third) put a nice thick chunk of concrete right next to your car that's nice to bounce sound off. Only when the platform is empty of course, I'm not one to rev on people waiting for the bus.

I figure it's my life, it's my money, and the entire world is free to judge me all they want, while they lick my balls. I buy dumb shit, for life!

Ah, I now see that I can hit that little arrow next to discussion to star an individual comment. I'm learning, slowly but surely. Wish I had an edit button so I looked smarter.

So hearts are now stars. Let's be honest, this is the biggest news in this post.

He may have been unsafe, but he never mentions that there are other humans on the road that he put at risk, only a reference to "commuters." Could've been sleestaks driving those other cars.  All events described may have occurred in a parallel universe where sleestaks love flossing slow and low in Buick Rainiers.

Dude, I haven't really like wrestling since I was twelve, I'm now 37, and I still plan on going to a live wrestling show one of these years. Seems like it would be fun. No judgement!

1. Fords: I'm from Michigan
2. AMC: I like nostalgia and weirdness
3. Datsun: see AMC
4. Honda: I like 70s-90s Civics, and the NSX
5. Mazda: 323 GTX, Mazda5, FD RX-7

I was drawn to the weirdness of Eagles as a kid, and AMC is one of my first keywords in craigslist searches, but I don't know much about their vehicles. If I ever find an AMX to buy, I'll be sending you a private message to get your input. (If private messages still exist.)

Dude, you are a badass. Your AMC knowledge is appreciated. Comments like this are what bring me back to Jalopnik year after year.

I think this is the first time I've heard a muscle car compared to a Volvo. And it's probably the last time, as well. They are both heavy. Besides that?

Dude, you've got to dream better than that.

I thought Japan would rank higher too, not just for the amount of killings, but for the whole "The Emperor is God and I am the Hand of God and thus God is Really Happy when I Rape and Kill You" attitude.

Almost watched it, saw the little ads to other vids on the site, was repulsed, decided against it.

Wow. I know this Q&A is already closed, but I just want to thank John Davis for coming over here, answering so many questions, and answering the questions so completely. This John Davis guy is the Real Deal.

Wow, very interesting. Will it save you money on gasoline? Yes. Will it save you money overall? With a carbon fiber body, probably not.
