Wow, I love this discussion. I read both sides of it, and both times I thought "I could've wrote that, because I totally agree."

1,159th! Spencer Williams never loses!

I still want one, too. All of my dream cars are pretty realistic, and that's why I'll actually buy them.

Of course I don't want to crash into a truck load of newborns, but I try to drive conscientiously, so I don't really worry about hurting others so much.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother, that's terrible.

I hear you, man. Latino guys here in the Bay Area still like to lower full-size trucks, and while not lowriders by any means, slaves of logic "car guys" love to scream about how they've ruined the truck's ability to haul things given the height drop. But if you're using your truck to bring flat screens home or other

Let the other sites oversplooge on Corvette coverage, let's give the people what they want: BZR.

Detroit was in love with this look. There are probably still a few of them on the eastside, it's still 1996 over there.

Agreed. And someone should buy that writer a pizza!

It really wasn't necessary, and probably a good thing you didn't include it. You opened the door to Donk discussion, for which I commend you. Really bring up the distinctions was the only way I could think to comment besides addressing the casual racism, and I really wanted to comment without opening that door.

First off, THANK YOU for referencing DonkSnob. That is the best website in existence.

Internet Auto Forums.

"So he and his stranded friend did what anyone would do in that situation and paced slowly around the car, scratching their heads and doing nothing to actually fix the car." —YES.

My car broke, so I got in another car.

I wouldn't say it's ugly, but it definitely goes against the grain of how a front end should be designed. I love these cars. Whenever I see one, I notice it. I can't say that for many new cars.

Yeah, Steven Lang's auction tales are pretty great, totally agree.

He can get overly contentious, and can pile on the smarm, but Baruth is a very strong writer and car reviewer. I don't think anyone on staff at Jalopnik would argue this.

I clicked through to see if the 808 Pureview would get any recognition. I love mine, though I realize it's not a well-rounded machine, but what it does well, wow, it does well. Yes, I am a fanboy. The phone made me love it.

If you're me, which you're not, here's what you want for the holidays:
