There is a subset of pokemon fans who get angry when the game (or at least the game after the game) becomes more accessible. Whether it’s easier shiny hunting or time saving measures for breeding and training competitive mons, they’ll get pissed that it’s easier now because they look at new players who didn’t have to

See, I read that as ‘by the time he was sleeping next to his PS4 his relationship was on the outs.’ He’s not sleeping next to his PS4 because he plays games too much, he’s sleeping there because he’s no longer allowed to sleep in the bedroom in the bed: he’s in exile on the floor of his living room or the couch and

Not a game, but I can’t enjoy Howl’s Moving Castle anymore as it was followed up immediately mere minutes after with my abusive ex emotionally abusing me and telling me I’ll never be a real girl and she was kicking me out of her apartment (I was 6 hours by plane from my home state). Luckily one of my besties let me

The fact that ghoul is using the term “egame” just confirms whatever crap they will release will be completely awful.

No game has cost more to develop than Star Citizen and this game is far from finished. The other games that cost less are you know, finished.

Scope creep is usually accidental.

I think you’re misremembering the Kickstarter (unsurprisingly after a whole ass decade). Star Citizen was ALWAYS an MMO. The entirely single player game is a separate offline component (Squadron 42). That’s one of the very few things about SC that’s never changed.

I’ve put it this way before: “As long as people keep giving them money to develop this game.... why would they ever stop?”

Until there’s actual narrative content, that’s about all you can do. Also, pay lots of real money for ingame items that don’t exist yet.

Fine, it’s not a scam. But it is a cult.

Agreed. The game exists and a lot of work has been put into it. The people working on it clearly want to make a good game. It’s just the victim of poor management and endless feature creep.

Freelancer lacked final polish but it was actually really good.

I paid $50 for the single player game in the initial Kickstarter and occasionally log in to see how the janky tech demo is going. There’s still no sign of even the first chapter of Squadron 42. Yeah, it’s vaporware.

The vapiest vaporware that ever vaped a vape.

I think they are talking about in the context of the show. Yes in the game its implied hes a death machine that did alot of killing before the game started, and as the game progresses. Even before we meet Ellie im pretty sure we killed like 50 guys. In the show he kills alot less people

She doesn’t have agency with the fireflies either. They were gonna do the surgery without ever waking her up. That’s why in the game she doesn’t even wake up until shes in the car with Joel driving away. Also in the game if you collect the tapes and listen to the doctors argue they weren’t even 100% sure the

I mean at multiple points it goes out of his way to show him executing people who had surrendered,

Marlene’s explanation of Ellie’s ‘gift’ is that within her is something that makes the fungus think she is one of them, but this isn’t true: she’s been attacked multiple times by zombies. Either she’s lying to Joel for whatever reason or her information is bad, I’m not certain.
