Its a good thing for consumers. Intel basically having a monopoly was a great thing for Intel.

Yeah the master branch one confuses me for the same reason. To me it meant just main, like a master recording, or a master copy. If its used alongside slave, then yeah, but its not. There’s no slave branch, that’s not how it works. Read more

I mean she was seriously boring on Celebrity too. No idea who she was and good god she was dull - I think she’s been managed by people for so long now since she was so young that she doesn’t actually know how to behave without being explicitly instructed.

Netflix regularly does weekly releases - in the UK, a lot of US shows are ‘Netflix exclusives’ and come out each week, such as RuPaul’s Drag Race, Better Call Saul, Black Lightning...

One Day At A Time got picked up by Pop TV - its still the same show, but shorter, and with weirder lighting.

So I’ve been working from home for over a week now - nothing very new, I usually WFH at least 2 days a week. Went in on Thursday as I knew we were going to shut the office and I wanted to grab some stuff. My company then recommended WFH on Friday, and then shut the office properly today (following government advice). Read more

I mean if you look at video streaming, we went from Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video, to endless individual streaming services by all the broadcasters/movie studios who want in. Its the same thing here - they’ve done it with storefronts, and there’s no lucrative monthly subscriptions there. It can't be sustained, Read more
