Honestly early Flash was my favorite of the DC series (Legends of Tomorrow supplanted that later on) but it really should have ended around season 5. Haven’t watched the current one, but the last couple seasons before were hard to plow through.

Surprisingly, people almost never know when this is the case. Movies are constantly using CGI instead of real sets.

Canon, and more specifically fans’ obsession with it, is one of the more toxic things in fandom at this time.  It prevents people from letting go and having fun, and it constrains writers and producers to an unnecessary degree.

I’d also love it if there was no real plot, or action sequences, or script, and its just RDJ and Goldblum improving for 90 minutes straight.

Yeah, the fact that the reaction to “Oops, the heroes accidentally helped the BBEG get the thingy needed to conquer the world and now have to try to find an undo button” being the purported plot is “...yeah, that sounds like a D&D campaign” from most fans really does tell me they know what they’re doing.

I saw a tweet that said the new movie should stop in the middle and make everyone in the theater schedule a time to finish it.

Honestly I am not sure why everyone is hating on this trailer. It looks fun. It looks like they have actual D&D monsters. Chris Pine is a bard!

A true D&D movie should make all the protagonists as murder hobos who do nothing but barter at the local shop for 30 minutes to get the nice sword cheaper by 100 gold.
