So the arrowverse is now gone. Really sad. It was a truly spectacular era. Not perfect. Far from it (the stupid Dragon crime lord season of Arrow...shudders).
On The Flash, they just invented super-alcohol for Barry.
Honestly early Flash was my favorite of the DC series (Legends of Tomorrow supplanted that later on) but it really should have ended around season 5. Haven’t watched the current one, but the last couple seasons before were hard to plow through.
Grant Gustin in a couple of months, after Ezra Miller blows up a baby hospital:
I do hope we have 2 or 3 eps showing Barry save the Legends, a la the Lone Gunman episode of the final season of the X-Files. DAMN YOU WARNER DISCOVERY for killing LoT
Me it so.
Surprisingly, people almost never know when this is the case. Movies are constantly using CGI instead of real sets.
Canon, and more specifically fans’ obsession with it, is one of the more toxic things in fandom at this time. It prevents people from letting go and having fun, and it constrains writers and producers to an unnecessary degree.
I mean, you could have read the article instead of skimming it.
No, too short. How about quick bites? Qubis, if you will.
I’d also love it if there was no real plot, or action sequences, or script, and its just RDJ and Goldblum improving for 90 minutes straight.
Yeah, the fact that the reaction to “Oops, the heroes accidentally helped the BBEG get the thingy needed to conquer the world and now have to try to find an undo button” being the purported plot is “...yeah, that sounds like a D&D campaign” from most fans really does tell me they know what they’re doing.
I saw a tweet that said the new movie should stop in the middle and make everyone in the theater schedule a time to finish it.
Honestly I am not sure why everyone is hating on this trailer. It looks fun. It looks like they have actual D&D monsters. Chris Pine is a bard!
and spend 2 hours debating on how and if they should open each and every door they come across
A true D&D movie should make all the protagonists as murder hobos who do nothing but barter at the local shop for 30 minutes to get the nice sword cheaper by 100 gold.
“Arguably, we’ve already had the “perfect” D&D movie thanks to Peter Jackson’s adaptations of The Lord Of The Rings in the 2000s—which, if I’m being honest, do chart a bit too close to “action movie” for my taste”
He says that it is a “mystery to him” how he caught the virus, as nobody around him has tested positive and he wore a mask at all time except during the House of the Dragon panel and meals.
I believe the actual final installment will be titled “A Dance With Dragons”
