The PS1/Saturn/N64 era of hardware was under-utilized because developers were still learning C and similar code for 3D modeling. There are videos of someone (I forget who, should be easy to find) optimizing Mario 64 with modern C methods to get the same game running at 60fps on original hardware. A lot of it is simply

Whose Line is it Anyway, which is one of my favorite television shows period. The first revival season was tepid and there were too many celebrity guest stars, but once they began to let loose and stopped having the guest stars, it got just as funny as always. Plus, I’ll be quite frank: Aisha Tyler is alot funnier on

What? Confused. Donna was under RTD not Moffat.

Whose Line is it Anyway?

The first season in particular is pretty much the ideal in terms of a superhero show

Crazy ex girlfriend was one of the best comedies of the 2010s. Glad Bloom was able to get her story told.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was the best show ever put on the network.

Legends was without a doubt the best.  Would have been nice to get a final season to wrap it all up.

Opened up a new browser without an adblocker. There's like 3 lines of text surrounded by unmoving animated ads. And that's before the pop-ups block the rest. This is a mess. Worse than it has ever been.

This is definitely my big problem with Netflix. There was a time, long-ago, when Netflix was actually rescuing good shows from cable channel cancellation (e.g. LONGMIRE), but over the past few years, they’ve become a notorious at new-show cancellation as the most notorious networks (Fox, SyFy, etc., ).

It makes sense when you take into consideration that the content producers are putting the bulk of their content funding in their streaming baskets and leaving cable/networks with the scraps. No one is lining up to fund the next GoT for cable, but they are certainly falling over each other to do it for their streamers.

For sure them constantly cancelling shows after a season or two has been a frustrating endeavor, as a viewer. Becomes impossible to get invested in anything.

I pay extra for 4 screens, the price keeps increasing. It used to be crazy NOT to have netflix because the price was so cheap.  Now it’s time to consider whether it’s worth it or not and generally speaking, no it’s not.  Maybe they should stop funding those shitty movies.

I have two, one of them has their birthday today. She’s two years old and adorable. I would not talk about this with the people I work with. But I will tell any random stranger on the internet who’ll listen.

I have a pet cat. He is my whole world. His antics bring me joy and his purrs calm me down when I’m stressed. A not insignificant amount of my weekly paycheck goes to giving him the life of feline royalty. He has a little tie on his collar so everyone know he’s Very Professional. And I would never blast an email to my
