The thing that baffles me about the BBC’s choice to go with Chibnall is how he NEVER had a really good episode under other showrunners.

Karen Gillan also fought herself as young and old Amy on the Doctor Who episode “The Girl Who Waited,” and as alt-timeline Nebulas in Avengers Endgame. Why not, if you could have one Karen Gillan in your movie, why not another one too?
