Nobody fucking cares. Blockchain has brought exactly zero positive to the world. Somebody created their own problem and solved it and then sold the world on the future that will never come. It doesn’t add anything of worth.

The energy narrative is not outdated, because Ethereum 2.0 isn’t actually a thing yet. It is a concept they’re working on that, in theory, will drop energy consumption. It is still being tested.

Perhaps “highly breakable” is a better term; it’s playable, so it’s not broken, but it certainly can be busted the hell open more than the games it’s remaking.
