Perhaps “highly breakable” is a better term; it’s playable, so it’s not broken, but it certainly can be busted the hell open more than the games it’s remaking. We haven’t seen mainline Pokemon games this glitchy since Gen I (and yeah, I’d consider an official remake mainline even if GF isn’t making it).

The UK has a certain way about talking shit though. Within friends and family it’s common and fun to just joke about things. By no means is it harassment and i feel like using that word here diminishes what it actually is.

To be fair, persistent unlock systems/grinds are manipulative garbage meant to stimulate your addiction centers and keep you playing longer. These days they’re also usually tied into microtransactions and “double XP” boosters
